This is the best activity you can do in the afternoon in Antigua. This tour will take you to 3 mountain tops with incredible views of the city, valley, and volcanoes near and around Antigua. Our first stop is ¨El Cerro de la Cruz ¨ Antigua’s famous lookout point known as ¨The Cross¨. After getting a close-up aerial view of the colonial city, we hop back on the vehicles and head up the El Hato Mountain towards our Second stop. We arrive at our parking lot in El Hato where we hop into our 4*4 pick-up truck which takes us to the ¨HOBBITENANGO¨.
This is a lord of the rings themed Eco-Park where we catch the Sunset and are able to enjoy some food, drinks, and games. Here we will go up the hill and sightsee, enjoy great views and various activities in this enchanted little forest. Once, finished we will head back down the mountain where if you are hungry we can grab some food and drinks at a Guatemalan restaurant located on the side of the mountain called El Tambor.

You are unable to book a reservation only with a passenger rate; you must have a driver rate as well.

5.00Once in a lifetime experience. We enjoyed riding in ATVs up to the top of the highest peak. Our guide less was fantastic and very welcoming. We learned a lot about the region and it’s fantastic.

4.00First experience on quad bikes. They were very organised. We stopped at viewing platform for gorgeous views of the volcano and then on to Hobbitenago. Disappointing that we couldn’t ride all the way there but instead went on in the back of a van which felt like you might fall out of! All driving is on the roads so there is traffic around but a good way to experience driving one for first time.

5.00One of the best days we have had so far. We got to see so many INCREDIBLE photo spots such as the Cross and Hobitenango and some more photo stops. It was really fun ripping around. JP was our guide, he spoke perfect English which was helpful for us only knowing limited words. He was incredibly knowledgeable, gave us so much history and depth about the area, he made sure to take pics without us asking, he was on top of it. Gave us really good recommendations as well. Definitely request him for your tour! Make sure you bring a sweatshirt on the sunset tour it does get chilly!

5.00The ATV sunset tour was awesome! My husband and I did this tour, our guide was amazing and we had so much fun. We arrived at Simoon rentals, got the ATV's had a briefing and off we went! Up to Cerro De La Cruz. Then off To Hobbitonango which was so cute. As a group we chose to eat at the local restaurant, food was tasty and watching the sunset was pretty. Got back on the ATV's and cruised back down to town. Too notch expierence, book this tour!
