Experience cows being milked up close, taste fresh milk directly from the stables and enjoy an exclusive cheese tasting with local specialities such as raclette or Appenzell cheese – surrounded by breathtaking Alpine landscapes.

Memorable Day with Fabian

5.00Our family of four adults spent a memorable day with Fabian exploring Appenzell with a side trip to Lichtenstein. From our initial contact and through the conclusion of our tour, Fabian provided timely and thorough communication regarding our tour. Fabian curated a custom day for us that started with a pick-up at our Lucerne hotel. He introduced us to places that we could not have found on our own. We visited a village where Fabian knew and introduced us to locals. We had a memorable picnic in the snow with Fabian making raclette on a portable grill. We visited several sites in Lichtenstein and ended the day at a lovely chocolate factory. Fabian was happy to let us set our own pace and was very flexible with how we spent our day, even giving us time for a snowball fight. We highly recommend touring with Fabian!

5.00My wife and I booked a family trip to Italy and Switzerland. The travel agency booked this one day Swiss farm experience for us without knowing how amazing it was going to be. The tour guide and owner Fabian. came to our hotel and took us in one of a kind tour where we learned so much about how Switzerland manages their dairy farms, their regulations and so much more. Fabian gave us a tour in the town of Appenzell. We stopped at an scenic lookout spot of the town. During this stop Fabian set-up a charcuterie board featuring some of the cheese made in the town from the milk his cows produce and it was delicious to say the least. Once we got done, we visited a local brewery and the final stop was at his very own farm, where we got to meet his wife who also operates the farm along with other staff members. Our group was composed of 8 people total and it was perfect. While we were on his farm we had the opportunity to milk cows, watch them be fed and we were treated to a delicious and authentic Swiss Cheese Fondue and other treats. I also got to meet his son and play with him. He was a firecracker and very friendly. Overall, we all loved the experience and it is definitely a must go for anyone in the Lucerne/Zurich area.

5.00Our tour included a personalized guided hike to a beautiful alpine lake in the Appenzel region combined with an interactive tour of a multi- generational family dairy farm. This unique experience of Swiss life gave me a new appreciation for the hard work and dedication that is involved in the production of Swiss cheeses. Fabian was a great tour guide and we thoroughly enjoyed the taste of Swiss life in Appenzel.

5.00was our second tour with Fabian and we decided to try his farm experience. It was a very relaxed and enjoyable day. We got to milk a cow which was something new for us and surprisingly fun. Afterwards we had a simple and very good Fondue on the farm with products from his family. Fabian and his family were welcoming and easy to be around. The whole experience felt natural and personal. We really enjoyed it and would happily join another tour with him in the future.

5.00We recently joined Fabian for another amazing tour. This time in the beautiful Appenzell region. We hiked up to Seealpsee, walked around and visited a local cheese dairy while enjoying the stunning mountain views. Fabian treated us with cheese from his farm and fresh fruit along the way.Later , we visited his family farm, tried milking the cows :) ann ended the day with a delicious fondue.It was authentic , warm and truly memorable Swiss experience. 5.00We’re so glad we found this tour. It was the perfect day trip from Zurich, close enough for an easy drive, but it felt like being deep in the countryside. The Appenzell area was absolutely beautiful, with green rolling hills that reminded us a little of home. In the afternoon, we visited Fabian’s family farm. Our kids got to feed and milk the cows, which was such a fun and memorable experience. Christina prepared a delicious homemade fondue for us, and we really enjoyed the relaxed, friendly atmosphere. We’ve done a few tours in Switzerland, but this one stood out because it felt so genuine and personal. A wonderful experience for families and anyone who wants to see real Swiss life.

5.00We had the pleasure of spending three unforgettable days with Christina and Fabian. The experience began with their farm tour, which quickly became the highlight of our trip. Together with their warm and welcoming family, we got a glimpse into real Swiss countryside life. The kids loved helping with the animals and even got to milk the cows – a moment they will always remember. On the following two days, we explored the beautiful Appenzell region and enjoyed a peaceful hike to Seealpsee. The combination of gentle adventure, breathtaking landscapes and local insights made the days truly special. We were warmly recommended to Christina and Fabian by friends who had toured with them before, and we couldn’t be more thankful for that recommendation. After experiencing it ourselves, we can wholeheartedly say: a tour with them is something you shouldn’t miss if you’re visiting Switzerland. Our time with them wasn’t just about discovering places – it was about meaningful moments, kind people and a connection that stayed with us. We feel lucky to have met Christina and Fabian, and even luckier to now call them friends. They are always welcome in our home, whenever they decide to visit.

5.00We did a tour with Fabian earlier this year and loved it so much that we booked another one with him, pretty spontaneously. Honestly, it turned out to be the highlight of our trip. We even came back to Switzerland just for two days — mainly to see Fabian again. And we’re so glad we did. This time he showed us a completely different side of Switzerland. Not the typical tourist places, but real hidden gems — quiet, beautiful, and truly local. It felt like seeing the country through a different lens. We had already done his farm tour before, which was amazing on its own. But this time we also got to meet his family, and that made the experience feel even more authentic and personal. Fabian and Christina are incredible guides, and we can’t recommend them enough. This was one of those rare travel moments that really stays with you.

5.00We took our 3 children on a tour with Fabian. We couldn’t be happier with the experience. We were hoping for an authentic, immersive, real Swiss experience and that’s exactly what we got! Fabian was extremely knowledgeable of Switzerland. He took us to a local cheese factory, a fun area for the kids to play with goats and then we fed/milked his cows on his family farm. His family was very friendly and welcoming. Very grateful for Fabian and his family giving us a wonderful taste of Swiss life!
