Catacombs are sacred and maintain a constant temperature of around 15°C (59°F) with high humidity. Please dress accordingly This tour involves some uneven paths, cobblestone streets and ancient Roman basalt paving. Catacombs are not wheelchair accessible and are not recommended for individuals with serious walking problems, claustrophobia, or difficulty climbing stairs. The tour involves descending and ascending approximately 50 irregular steps.

I had an incredible experience touring the Appian Way and the Catacombs with Fabrizio as my private golf cart guide. From start to finish, he was absolutely fantastic. Fabrizio arrived right on time and tailored the entire tour to exactly what I wanted to see, making the experience feel truly personalized. I was especially impressed by his deep knowledge of the city and his thoughtful, engaging commentary at every stop. He brought the history of Rome to life in a way that was both fascinating and engaging. The comfort of the private golf cart made the day even more enjoyable, allowing us to cover more ground without feeling rushed. If you’re looking for a unique, informative, and perfectly curated tour of Rome, I can’t recommend Fabrizio highly enough. One of the best tours I’ve ever taken!

We had a wonderful day out of the hustle and bustle of Rome Center. Our guide Francesco was very knowledgeable about the landmarks and the history. He also provided tips as to where to eat and what to see next. He was a great guide!

We were picked up at our hotel room precisely as promised. Everything was seamless. Wonderful tour to start with, as we had just flown in. Settled into our hotel and had lunch, then combatted jet leg by setting out on this tour. Very knowledgeable, fun and competent guide!

We did the private tour with Kristian. It was a lot of fun driving through Rome in a golf cart. It was raining, but it didn't limit us at all. On the way from our hotel, Kristian stopped along the way at a couple of spots. He was a great guide. It didn't take a ton of time to go through the catacombs, but it was an extremely cool experience. We joined a group with a catacombs tour guide for that part. Then we drove around outside the walls to see the Appian way. With our extra time Kristian drove us around Rome and showed us a few more hidden gems, like Aventine Hill where we saw a more than 300 yr old orange tree. There were also some beautiful views of Rome. Overall a very worthwhile experience! Thank you Kristian!

This was a wonderful tour. Our guide, Gabriele, was so knowledgeable and excited to share his knowledge. He picked us up right on time at our flat. He took his time with the tour, was funny, friendly, and accommodating. He even recommended a place to eat and dropped us off there at our request. He was a true gentleman and professional. I highly recommend this tour!
