Located near the old Medina in the center of Malaga are the ruins of an old Arabian well. Next to these ruins is Hammam Al Ándalus, the luxurious spa that harks back to the splendor and decadence of Arabian-era Andalucia – a time when the Moors were in power. Follow the lead of Malaga’s Moorish ancestors by stepping inside and enjoying 1.5 hours at leisure. The baths are beautifully tranquil with resplendent Arabian décor featuring candle-lit walk ways, vaulted ceilings, and arch-framed chambers. Unlimited mint tea and glasses of water are available for you to drink while inside. Relax your muscles by lounging in the hot thermal bath, and then stimulate your senses by jumping in the cold one. Bask in the warm pool and sit back visualizing times-gone-by when Moors of Malaga would bathe in pools such as this. Sit in the steam room, breathing in its fragrant vapors, infused with aromatic essences, and then amble over to the bath’s Aroma Corner for a massage. At the end of your session, head to the showers and leave the baths feeling refreshed, revitalized and ready to hit Malaga!

Great experience. Be sure to wear two piece swimwear for ladies. Better directions to get to your location would have assisted for people coming off cruise ships.

I asked Trip Advisor to reach out, they didn’t—I didn’t want to do this. I took my wife for her birthday. We’ve been several times and it’s always been a great experience. I’ve recommended others go when visiting Malaga. We live here. It was late and we were each getting the Midra massage (which I’ve had before). My male massage therapist got increasingly inappropriate and you can take it from there. I froze. Badly. I’m saying this to say, the Hammam has always been fabulous to us. However, if you’re there and something odd happens trust your gut. It’s not supposed to.

Great Hammam experience, very close to the ones in Turkie or Amman. Vert clean and kind hostess. The only thing I do not like is having to go wet stairs up and down barefoot. Should allow slippers. Now they offer anti derrapant socks for a cost but I do not find it a good alternative. Anither suggestion is a machine to dry the bathing suits.

It was okay - massage was pleasant but everything else quite underwhelming - could do with more signs - you’re not allowed to talk but you have to ask where things are - seemed really busy & queued but not for me

Wow what a place, what incredible staff and incredible few hours. We had the 18.00 session, last day of holiday. It’s a session - so once everyone has arrived that’s the maximum number of people. Loved our 15 min scrub and 15 minute massage - would recommend longer. We were devoted to our cold, warm, hot routine with time in steam room and hot slabs too! It was incredible! We felt incredible. Staff help at all times, make sure you try the mint tea - gorgeous. The changing room facilities are fantastic. You literally need just a swim outfit. Everything else is provided. Lockers are a four digit number that you programme - There is shampoo and conditioner, hair products, face moisturiser, body moisturiser, powerful hairdryers. It meant we could go straight to dinner after! Perfect!
