Located near the old Medina in the center of Malaga are the ruins of an old Arabian well. Next to these ruins is Hammam Al Ándalus, the luxurious spa that harks back to the splendor and decadence of Arabian-era Andalucia – a time when the Moors were in power. Follow the lead of Malaga’s Moorish ancestors by stepping inside and enjoying 1.5 hours at leisure. The baths are beautifully tranquil with resplendent Arabian décor featuring candle-lit walk ways, vaulted ceilings, and arch-framed chambers. Unlimited mint tea and glasses of water are available for you to drink while inside. Relax your muscles by lounging in the hot thermal bath, and then stimulate your senses by jumping in the cold one. Bask in the warm pool and sit back visualizing times-gone-by when Moors of Malaga would bathe in pools such as this. Sit in the steam room, breathing in its fragrant vapors, infused with aromatic essences, and then amble over to the bath’s Aroma Corner for a massage. At the end of your session, head to the showers and leave the baths feeling refreshed, revitalized and ready to hit Malaga!

Really relaxing experience. 30-40mins is enough time in the baths area. The massage was amazing! Would have enjoyed some jets ir a sauna and steam but these were not options

The staff is polite and efficient. It is a clean and comfortable facility. I enjoyed myself. It was a perfect treat after a long flight.

Probably one of the best massages I have ever had but unfortunately the communication around how the experience worked was unclear. We were asked to wait in a welcome pool and someone would collect us. We seemed to need to wait quite a long time until eventually someone came and the scrub and massage was very good. Unfortunately, we were then told that we only had 10 mins to enjoy the other pools and the steam room. This spoilt the experience overall, and seemed unnecessary given the baths were not busy.

Difficult if you have mobility issues. The Hanmam is a lovely building with a great ambiance but if you are older (80) and a little unsteady it is disconcerting when moving around. getting into the various pools has problems and getting out is not easy.. When I visited the stones on which to relax were congested and not much space for octogenarians! The massage was good but no better than a massage in the UK. A problem I had in the individual dressing room was, because of its size, I knocked the light off the wall and it was hanging so i tried to hang it back. Big mistake! I got an electric shock! I would not recommend this experience for any who was unsteady or too old. But for younger people or couples who want an experience for the first time this is a good start.

This typical hammam is a real haven of peace where guests ensure maximum silence in the utmost discretion. French is not spoken it is better to understand Spanish or English but the instructions are easily interpretable. The massage we took was also very relaxing performed with great attention and empathy. An activity to do without reservation if only to enjoy the architecture of the place.

You walk in and you find a beautifully ambienced Arab building. Very careful. The pools with a warm water in my case that leads to a physical and mental relaxation. They did exfoliation and relaxing massage of 15 minutes. Finally a relaxing, non-decontracting massage with just the right pressure so it doesn't hurt. It's been a pleasure

It is exactly as described. It is like a Moroccan version of Zen. Extremely sensual and relaxing. I expect ladies to enjoy it especially. For the massage treatment, don't get the 15 minute one. You need at least 30 minutes.

A pleasant and beautiful spa, but pricey (60 euros per person) for the pools and steam bath only. I would have expected some kind of treatment to be included in the price. The massages were full for that day.
