This is the BEST way to make the most of your time on the Aran Islands and visit the Cliffs of Moher!
Inisheer is the smallest of the 3 Aran Islands. It’s located just 20 minutes off the coast of Doolin and the Cliffs of Moher.
We pick you in Galway, bring you to Doolin and once we arrive at the island, we get our bikes and head out for a 2-hour bike tour of the island. If you are not up for cycling, we can organize a tractor-drawn carriage tour for you at no extra charge.
After the tour, we will have home-baked scones and tea while hearing stories from a local islander!

We really enjoyed our day tour with Phil! He's hilarious and knowledgeable about Irish culture. The weather was typical for Ireland and he gave us options on the Aran Islands to get around. He made sure to stop for coffee/snacks before the ferry and then a local place for lunch on the way back. The tea + scones on the island was so special to meet the locals and reserved table was a perfect reprieve from the rain. Also the, tour size of 7 (max 8) was perfect. We really got to talk, ask questions, and experience Irish hospitality on this tour. We found value when booking direct vs getyourguide or other sites.

This tour was a highlight of our trip to Ireland. Everything was timed perfectly. Beautiful drive from Galway to Doolin with a coffee and rest stop along the way. Arriving at the ferry pier in Doolin we were meet by the one and only Ollie from Ollie’s Tours. He was some much fun to be around and tour the island of inisheer. After finishing our bike ride we had a reserved table in a cafe where we were treated to tea and scones. The ride back to Galway took a different route along the sea. A 10 out of 10 day. Don’t hesitate to book with Ollie’s tours.

Tour was phemonal. I messaged staff prior to going with questions and responses were prompt and very helpful! Thank you Freya and Ollie for getting back to me so quick! We got picked up at Galway Cathedral right on time by Ollie who has a charming and energetic personality. The drive to the ferry was entertaining as Ollie really knows how to carry a conversation. Once we got to the site of the ferry we meet our tour guides for the day, Fiachra and Conor. They were great! Lots of interaction and just overall super nice people. The scones on the island were delicious and Gale had really interesting stories to tell about the island. 10/10 experience very glad we booked with this group and would be super happy to do another tour with them in the future.

Our day started brilliantly with our guide Murph. He was so kind and we enjoyed our conversations with Murph. He was filled with knowledge and even offered to stop and get coffee since we had a bit of time on way to the ferry to go to the Aran Islands. It was a great place to stop. Murph really helped us see the Aran Islands in all its glory. We thought this tour was magical. We felt it deeply. The scenery is breathtaking and Murph really brought it all to life . If he lived in the Inited States .., we would be having a craic! I would recommend requesting him! We now would call him a friend! Jeanine Kelly .. USA

Lovely seaside drive down to Doolin - then off in the ferry to Inisheer Island for a bicycle tour with stops at points of interest. Phil is a knowledgeable guide and good fun and we learned a lot about the history and culture of the island and surrounding area. Do this tour!!

Absolutely amazing tour. I saw so many beautiful views, historical sites, and made new friends! Simon and Murph are both spectacular and made me feel welcome as a solo traveler. The bike ride was a blast, but be prepared for a hard workout! Get the e-bike if you don’t want to break a sweat.

Fantastic tour that covers Inisheer, some Irish culture, and a few pubs! The biking is easy and a great way to cover more of the island. Phil was great and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to go out to the Aran Islands!

Amazing! Cearbhuil was an amazing tour guide and was crucial to making the tour feel personal, legitimate, and special. She went out of her way to include everyone and ensure we all had a good time. She knew the local folks as well which helped us along. Also our driver, Dean, was very funny and knowledgeable too.

Knowledgeable and friendly guides. Well organized. The ferry from Doolin to Inisheer takes about 20 minutes and the water can be very choppy although the boat is big (300 people). They bring motion sickness patches for folks just in case. I ended up the only one on the tour (on a random Monday), but they ran the trip anyway; in any event, Ollie’s focuses on small groups, so you will never end up on a bus with 40 other people. Gorgeous scenery. I chose the “regular” (hybrid) bike option but there were also e-bikes and horse-drawn carriages available; the route was mostly flat with a few rolling hills on fairly well maintained roads. Probably the best way to see Inisheer!

My boyfriend and I had the best experience on this tour! We pretty much had a private tour as it was the end of their tour season. Phil was a great guide- very fun to talk to and he gave us so much information on the history and culture of this area of the country. We hope to return and do some of their other tours!
