This trip starts early. Unfortunately we cannot provide refunds if you decide to not join us last-minute, for example because you’re tired.
As long as conditions are safe, we take this trip in any weather. Possible rain and snow are part of an authentic Norwegian experience. Please dress appropriately.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
What To Expect
After picking you up at the bus terminal, we leave Tromsø behind us and visit Kvaløya (“Whale Island”), where we visit some of the most beautiful landmarks that make Tromsø one of Norway’s most popular destinations.
Tromso Fjords
We often see reindeer and elk crossing the road, sometimes we can spot sea eagles and seals hunting for fish. From mid October to late January whales visit Tromsø’s fjords to feed on herring. During that time there is a good chance we will spot humpback whales and orcas from the shore.

5.00Ivana, Jonas & Igor from Chasing Lights were a super team responsible for our safe, interesting and joyful Arctic Road Trip. Thank you. Not only the nature and wildlife will be remembered, but also the educational information, the "Arctic Cafe" (with cookies), lunch on the fjord and the entertaining minibus ride. This trip was a real experience for us.

5.00I had the most incredible time exploring the deep natural beauty of Tromsø with Irene! As a total nature lover, this trip was 100% worth it. Irene is the perfect captain—friendly, funny, and always kept me smiling with her stories. She’s a wealth of knowledge on Norwegian history and was so patient while taking stunning photos of me! She truly went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I highly recommend her to everyone! The trip duration is perfect, won't be too tired.

5.00This fjords road trip was epic and definitely recommend booking this is you want to see spectacular scenery around Tromsø region. The guide Alex was welcoming and always happy to take photos for us and Patrick drove us around to some great viewpoints. It never felt like we were rushing or on a tight schedule which made the whole experience relaxing and good value.

5.00We had a wonderful tour to see the Arctic fjords and landscapes with our guide Meda and driver Igor. Meda gave us lots of information about norwegian nature and showed us some great photo spots. She also took some lovely photos of us, which we will keep as memories. But the highlight of the tour was definitely encountering a wild moose! Igor did his best to get us a good spot to take photos. If you want to learn more about Norway's impressive mountains and fjords, I highly recommend this tour.

Meda always explains to us about the historicity of the locations, about weather, temperature, customs and anything anyone in the group would ask. It was a wonderful photographer tb. Igor is always ready to help and answer any questions. The beautiful fjords were the background for a beautiful cohabitation! Thank you Meda and Igor!

5.00This Fjords Tour was absolutely amazing, and a huge part of that was thanks to Ivan out survet and of course Bailey, who was an exceptional guide from start to finish. His storytelling was outstanding. He shared fascinating insights about the fjords, both from a geological perspective and a historical one. Bailey is incredibly attentive, patient, and genuinely passionate. He took the time to photograph everyone, from multiple angles and viewpoints, always with creativity and care. He’s also a fantastic photographer! His positive energy, good mood, and enthusiasm made the whole experience even more special, especially as he kept reminding us how lucky we were to enjoy such perfect weather. The landscapes were simply breathtaking, and sharing this moment with someone so knowledgeable and passionate made it truly unforgettable. Highly recommended!
