The tour begins at 8:00 AM— First we visit the Famous and stunning Fortuna Waterfall, hiking about 500 stairs and if you feel like go for a refreshing swim.
Then will head out to the Arenal Volcano where you will hike for about 2 hours to the closest viewpoint and over the old lava fields, on the way down we will enjoy lunch and will go for a swim on the Tabacon green lagoon at the foot of the Volcano refreshing temperature.
Next we will go to the Mistico Hanging bridges park, you will walk over 16 different bridges at the tree tops and amazing views.
To finish, we will go to the Natural Hot springs River for about 1 hour to relax at the end of this entire day.
Then we will drop you off in the place we picked you up or in town as you may prefer.

5.00Norland was a wonderful guide. He shared a lot about the forest and volcano with our group and he had a great sense of humor. My family had a lot of fun on the hike and at the river. I would recommend this company for fun in La Fortuna.

5.00Raining the whole time, but the fun was not less. Our guide Jason was extremely nice. Showed us various animals and plants of the rain forest. At the hanging bridge park, we found howler monkeys, viper. It was so fun!

4.00Booked this after I cancelled the full day tour. My group was 17 people- including 4 children. The hike through the forest was about 2-3 hours. The guide was informative and gave the slower hikers (like myself) opportunities to catch your breath. At time there are steps but it can be very steep at times. Reaching the top- the view was worth the pain (LOL). Wear hiking shoes because there are loose rocks, roots, branches, etc because you are in the national park. Loose fitting clothes, bug spray and some water will help your best bets. At some point you are given an opportunity to lock up your things. I took it and was glad that I did because to have that and going up the volcano would have been too much. On the way backdown was much easier. They have you get your belongings and change into your bathing suits. The hike ends with a soak in the natural hot springs. Bring a towel. You can leave your stuff on the bus. We spent about 40 minutes in the public hot springs. You will see other people and children there. Overall, it was a good experience for my first hike. Would do it again but in better exercise shape.

5.00It really has been a great experience both in the budget and in the tour despite the weather that is changing in Costa Rica is really an experience to do in Fortunat especially with this tour there because the guides are super nice we exchanged had a great time and it is not only a paid service provided is more than that and I am really very happy to have been able to participate and I really thank the whole team

5.00We did this excursion with Gonzalo, who is extremely attentive and kind. It rained all night so we didn’t get to go down and walk around La fortuna waterfall. But he went out of his way to help us spot animals such as yellow throat toucan, hummingbirds, and sloths. The thermal river was such a nice spot to enjoy natural.
