A really great introduction to the city of Arequipa, letting you decide what you’ll visit later, what you’ll pass on. You see a variety of buildings and places. Our guide was super knowledgeable and very funny, and able to answer questions (not all the guides we have had have been as competent). Definitely a tour to take!

After some confusion about differences between the online information and an email update about start time and location, my wife and I joined a group that already had started. (Our time was extended by half an hour after the rest of the group's tour ended. We must have bought a different tour that overlapped with another program.) Our guide was Johan. (Peruvian despite the name.) He spoke excellent, if rather rapid-fire English and ran one of the most tightly programmed walking tours we ever have taken. The walk was brisk, and we covered a lot of territory. It also was enormously informative. Question time didn't seem to fit into the almost choreographed program; he tended to just say he would provide an answer later when the context was relevant. He covered the full history of Arequipa, including recent political developments. He led us to great opportunities for taking pictures and had many suggestions for other activities to do and where to eat. Johan convinced us that we should have included more time in Arequipa in our trip itinerary. Excellent value for the money. Recommend this tour highly.

Great walking tour with Johan today, he spoke excellently and with a lot of charisma. Told us a lot of stories about the city and took us round the sights. The drink at the start and snack at the end were both really good as well

My boyfriend and I were visiting Arequipa for the first time and took a 2.5-hour tour to explore the city and try some delicious local food. Our guide, Angela, was incredibly knowledgeable, well-prepared about the history of Arequipa and also very kind and friendly. We had a fantastic time with her. In just a few hours, she showed us both the must-see highlights and some of the city’s hidden gems. She helped us to discover the city with lots of information we didn’t know about (historical facts, symbols, ideologies and many more). The tour ended on a beautiful rooftop with a stunning view, such a perfect way to wrap up the experience. We truly recommend the tour and with Angela you will definitely enjoy 😊

Paulo was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable tour guide of the main sites within four blocks of the main square. We visited several beautiful colonial homes (the exteriors and courtyards) and learned about how Rich Europeans lived in Arequipa in the 16th and 17th century. He also pointed out places we should visit during our stay and made restaurant recommendations. After a couple hours of walking, we had a small taste of some locally produced ice cream, a coffee, a baby pisco sour and a salteno. Overall, it exceeded my expectations.

My husband and I had a great time in the center of Arequipa with Paolo today! He was very knowledgeable and the places he showed us were beautiful. The local empanadas we tried at the end of the tour were so delicious! We’d recommend this tour to anyone who visits this lovely city and doesn’t have much time but is curious to know what it’s about. Thank you !

Our guide is very nice and patient. Not only we had chance to try some flavorful snacks, but also we were taken to some hardly known local spots. Great experience over all
