It can be long - we did not finish until 9:30. Delicious food that you wouldn't think to order and interesting history.

If you want to learn the history of Aruba and taste a wide variety of culinary dishes this is the tour to take. Our guide Evy was very knowledgeable and friendly. We felt like we were friends more than tourists by the end of the tour.

Food was AVERAGE at BEST, very small portions, no dessert was provided but we were told it would be provided, way over priced for the food and educational portion of the tour, I would discourage people from taking this tour.

The tour was too long and the guy talked too much about the Aruban history. This being a food tour should have been more food focused.

We love to tour cities via a food excursion and while we have been to Aruba many times, this surprised us. We were introduced to new places and learned "hidden" history that is in plain sight. Expect to walk a mile and a half with plenty of sitting time in between. If you have any special dietary needs, note them the day before you tour even if you noted them when you signed up. Our tour guide, Evie, is personable, fluent in 4 languages and truly in love with Aruba. She knows her history, nearly to the hour it happened! All that said...this is a long tour. We arrived at 5:45 and ended at 10:00 p.m. It was our expectation, based on the website, to dedicate about 2 1/2 hours for the tour and everyone in our group was plainly weary at the end.

Enjoyed the tour! Food tastings were good and our guide was so knowledgeable on Aruban history, which made the tour more interesting. We really enjoyed the time eating and learning about Aruba’s history and culture.

Well, I booked the food tour for my wife and me and we were notified that our trip was cancelled because the tour guide was in a car accident. We were notified 20 minutes after the time we were to start the tour. So, we booked for the next day and that was cancelled as well. So we asked for a refund and for the taxi fare of $30 that we had paid to get to the site. We were only refunded for one person. Needless to say I was not happy with the tour

We tried 4 restaurants that I had never been to and I’ve been to Aruba a million times. And the stories and history added so much to the experience.

We waited at the meeting point for almost an hour - nobody showed up. Called the help line but were finally offered the choice of a 10 minute walk to the current tour location. We opted for a refund.
