Alto Vista Chapel
At Alto Vista Chapel, the most historical and first chapel in Aruba, you will bask in the beauty and tranquillity of no other location in Aruba. Our tour guides will share the beautiful history behind the chapel known as Aruba's holy sight. You can reflect and meditate in the tranquillity garden just behind the chapel from the outside. Take in the breathtaking view of the coastline and surrounding hills. If you are so moved, light a candle and give thanks for life's experience. During your stop at this breathtaking site, our tour guides will show you the beauties of the landmark, once built-in in 1952 as a tiny stone chapel located on a hillside high above the city of Oranjestad. From a distance, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the sea. Alto Vista Chapel is one of Aruba's National Landmarks. It is still a worship site, yet it is open to all individuals who wish to visit during daylight hours.

5.00My husband and I really enjoyed this! Be prepared to get very dirty but it’s all part of the experience! June and Tony were excellent tour guides. We were able to see a lot of the island and loved feeding the animals in the beginning of the excursion.

5.00We had a great time exploring the rugged side of Aruba. Our guide, June, and his team were outstanding. We were unable to stop at some of the advertised planned spots, but our guide explained the environmental conditions behind those changes in a professional manner and made sure we had alternative, similar experiences. It was a rougher terrain that we expected, but we had a blast. We would definitely do it again. Highly recommend!

5.00We had a great day exploring the rugged side of the island with our guide, June, and the rest of the team. Each stop was fun and informative. There were a few stops that were skipped because of environmental conditions and our guide made apologies, explained the changes in a professional manner, and made certain we had alternative stops. (No natural cave pool or cliff jumping as advertised) The tour was more challenging (rough terrain) than we had expected, but we never felt unsafe (there were support vehicles around constantly) and we absolutely loved it!

5.00The trip was amazing and the group of 12 that went loved every aspect. We were able to get a bit of culture as well as experience the island. Our family was amazed at the beauty of the island. The bus guide Max had us smiling, laughing and dancing on the trip from our hotel. We would highly recommend.

5.00Danny and Mario provided a fun filled exciting experience. Be prepared for the bumpy ride in the dusty sand. If you bring the red gear, you’ll have a great time. This is one of those experiences that keeps you fluid and young.

5.00June and Alex were amazing in explaining the history and culture. I would rate this 10/10. Seeing and feeding the animals was also a plus. A Little disappointed about not doing the cliff jumping due to increased seaweed but still was able to dip in the water. I would definitely do this again!
