Manhyia Palace Museum
An essential highlight of the palace that enhances the enriching experience for tourists is the Manhyia Palace Museum. Despite its modest size, this museum houses a wealth of historic artifacts, war talismans, and other treasures from the Asante Kingdom. It was inaugurated in 1995 as part of the Silver Jubilee celebration commemorating the ascension of the Golden Stool.
Prempeh II Museum
While this museum may be compact in size, the included personalized tour, offered with admission, provides a captivating introduction to Ashanti culture and history. Among its exhibits are artifacts associated with Ashanti King Prempeh II, including his war attire, ceremonial garments, jewelry, protective talismans, personal accessories for bathing and dining, furniture, royal emblems, and finely crafted brass weights for gold measurement. Designed to resemble an Ashanti chief's residence, the museum features a front courtyard and walls adorned with traditional carved symbols.

I returned on December 3rd for a Kumasi tour with Silas, and it was truly a beautiful experience. Every place he took me to was amazing and well worth it, but the naming ceremony touched my heart the most—it made me so emotional in the best way. Silas was very kind, patient, and knowledgeable throughout the tour, and he made everything feel special and meaningful. I’m truly grateful for this unforgettable experience and I highly recommend him to anyone visiting Kumasi.

We booked SiBerTours as two couples and honestly had such a good time. From the start, Silas explained everything clearly so we knew what to expect, and he also let us choose what we wanted to do, which made the trip feel more personal. He was professional, but at the same time very friendly and easy to talk to. We never felt rushed and he made sure we were comfortable at every point. The places we visited were well planned, and we got to enjoy both the culture and the fun side of Ghana. If you’re thinking about booking a tour in Ghana, I would definitely recommend SiBerTours. It made our trip stress-free and enjoyable.

Would definitely recommend for groups and solo travelers. I'm a solo traveler in Kumasi. SiBer and his cousin accompanied me on the Kumasi City Tour. Someone was with me at all times, and they were careful to always have someone in front of and behind me when we were walking through crowded areas. This attention to detail and my safety meant the world to me. We followed the itinerary and walked through the Kejetia Market. He gives you the option of proceeding with a walking tour or utilizing bolt/uber/both. I elected to walk and thought it was a great way to see the city. SiBer's English is fantastic and he is incredible knowledgeable of the region.
