Loved it - amazing trip to spent the day! Duska is an awesome guide! Thanks to her I got a good insight into the history of the island, its legends and myths - her anectodes only make it more entertaining. The trip was well organized and still Duska and Dimitri remained flexible to enabled the best experience for the group. Thanks to Dimitri's amazing driving skills neither serpentines nor goats could stop us!

A great way to spend a day. Wendy, our guide, was excellent with a deep knowledge of the history of the island and plenty of anecdotes to keep us entertained. Assos is a jewel of a stop along the way. Hats off to Demitri for his driving skills, especially his ability to swerve the goats.

Wendy and Dimitrius greeted us warmly as soon as we got on the bus. Wendy explained everything clearly and was a fountain of knowledge of all the places we visited as well as those en route. She had lots of interesting stories to tell too. We saw the amazing caves of Melissani, the beautiful villages of Assos and Fiskardo plus a chance to take photos of the breathtaking Myrtos beach. The whole day was well organised and enjoyable. Thank goodness we had Dimitrius to drive around the several hairpin bends and steep climbs. Thanks to you both. It was a great day and I would recommend to anyone wanting to explore this part of the island.

Booked the Island Tour through TripAdvisor with Kefalonia Tours. Communication good and pick up at nearby hotel due to access to our accommodation. Weather forecast for the day was rain. Nevertheless George drove us safely to all our stops through mountain roads and tight bends. Wendy was very informative and kept us entertained with the local myths, facts and figures. Entrance to the caves was very swift and afterwards me made a quick photo stop at Mytos Beach due to the rain and windy conditions. We then continued to Fiskardo where Wendy found us a lovely restaurant to take shelter and ate a lovely Greek salad and Pizza. Staff were very accommodating and couldn’t do enough to make our visit enjoyable. After visiting the Roman Cemetery and a few photo opportunities we headed back to the bus to Assos. Wendy making sure we were all present and happy. We continued along the coastline and as the weather had improved slightly we got a better view of the white cliffs. Thanks to Wendy and George we had a busy and enjoyable day on this unusually wet day.

We both really enjoyed the tour we did yesterday on my birthday. Despite the heavy rain both Wendy and George the driver made it a safe and very interesting experience. The local knowledge and history presented by Wendy was fascinating and much welcomed. Even in the rain the places we visited were beautiful and gave a great insight into Greek life. The roads although a little scary gave us amazing views of the coastline of Kefalonia. I would most definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the island.

The tour guide was absolutely brilliant, helpful and knowledgable on her history and knowledge of the island itself. We went to Assos, Fiscardo and Myrtos beach. When I wasn’t feeling well, Katerina the tour guide was very accommodating in escorting me to the pharmacy. Highly recommend!

We booked our trip in Kefalonia Travel in Lassi. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable when deciding which trip to book. We were picked up on time from our hotel and our driver Costas and guide Wendy were fantastic. Wendy was enthusiastic, extremely knowledgeable and made the trip fun with her stories. Costas handled the extremely narrow windy roads expertly. We saw lots of the island and Wendy pointed out lots of points of interest along the way. Well worth booking.

We really enjoyed this trip! The Melissani Caves were amazing and Assos and Fiskardo were beautiful. The coach driver Demetri was a superb driver along the steep winding roads and Duska was very informative about the history of the island and very friendly. It was a really good trip and would definitely recommend. Just one LITTLE complaint that the air con …not very good on coach.
