For thousands of years, human beings had a personal relationship with the night sky—a relationship that, over time, we have forgotten. At **Bajo la Noche de Atacama**, we believe it is time to recover that connection.
We don’t just want to talk about distances, temperatures, and sizes; we want to show you what cannot be seen. That’s why, through a human-centered narrative and astronomical observations with the naked eye and telescopes, we want to create an experience that will bring you closer to the sky.
Our tour includes:
- Stargazing sesions
- Observations through automatic telescopes
- Astrophotography session
- Coffee break with hot drinks, reserve or grand reserve wines, and sweet and savory snacks
- A campfire to end the observation
- A space for you to enjoy the sky however you wish
All of this in an unhurried experience in a natural space specially adapted to respect the environment, free of noise and light pollution.
Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
Service animals allowed
Suitable for all physical fitness levels
The experience: A night under the Atacama sky in a quiet place and away from light pollution, and alongside people who love to look up at the sky. Tour absolutely mandatory for all who live in cities, there is no way to describe what is the night sky without the interference of artificial lighting. Rodrigo is an amazing guide with a phenomenal talent to tell the stories of the constellations and a lot of patience with amateurs, so even those who only know how to recognize the Moon will take advantage of the tour and leave with the desire to learn about all the stars. It's quite cold so consider three layers and don't forget to wear more than one pair of socks, the mantins that are offered also help a lot. Use the bathroom before leaving the hotel, the tour has no support point.

We love the walk! The guide explains very quietly, so that those who do not understand much Spanish can understand. The photographer took great pictures. He lent us a tripod and taught us how to take a picture of the Milky Way using his cell phone. It is a wonderful walk and only orientation you do! I booked the trip for Triapdvisor and a day before the company contacted for guidance.

This astronomical tour was honestly one of the best experiences we had in Atacama. Rodrigo and the team were amazing from start to finish. The way everything was explained made the night so much more special, not only looking at the stars, but actually understanding what we were seeing. You can really feel the passion and knowledge behind the tour. Rodrigo explained complex things in such an easy and interesting way, and the atmosphere during the whole experience was very welcoming and relaxed. The sky in Atacama is already unbelievable, but this tour made it unforgettable. The telescopes, the explanations, the organization, and the overall experience were all excellent. Highly recommended for anyone visiting San Pedro de Atacama. Thank you again for such a memorable night

I loved the talk about worldview, the best of the tour, the guides were very friendly, you can see the experience and dedication. The photo shoot is not a “shoot”, it is two photos only, one individual and one with your group.
