This is a truly Highlight-Experience: if you live in a big city then you will be amazed by the Southern Hemisphere Milky Way in it’s splendor. Imagine counting up to 6.000 naked-eye visible stars instead of the 30 that you may see in the urban light polluted sky – it is a big WOW!!!
We will go through the beauties of the night sky – looking for planets, stars, shooting stars, satellites, constellations and galaxies. We may elaborate on life outside Earth – based on Science and Philosophy, including the Fermi Paradox.
“Selfie-of-the-Stars”: an unforgettable picture of the group with the stars in the background taken with state-of-the-art photographic equipment will be handed over with resolution for social media usage (digital file).

This is a great opportunity to look at the night sky with the milky way in its splendor in a dark sky with almost no light pollution (Bortle Class 1-2), a totally immersive and fascinating experience. It’s a must-see for people having an urban life - where starry skies no longer exist due to light pollution. No hiking is required (the stars are too far away). Cambara do Sul city is the base of this outdoor activity – located ca 200km from the nearest international airport in Porto Alegre/South Brazil. Activities: -Sunset phases, observing the dynamics of light; -Identification in the night sky of planets, stars, shooting stars, satellites, constellations and galaxies (using a high-power laser pointer); -Navigation using stars; -Light pollution and its effects; -Human and extraterrestrial life, the Fermi Paradox; -Preparation/registration of the “Selfie-of-the-Stars”; -Naked eye sky observation (no telescopes are used); -Duration: 4h (typically 17:00-21:00h, Winter 16:30-20:30h/Summer 18:00-22:00h). -Minimum age: 16 years old

Perfect tour, night with an absurdly beautiful sky. I saw stars that I remembered from my mother when there was no energy and she showed the stars. Egon tells a lot. It was all much of the Hour.

The astronomical experience with Egon is fantastic. Those who like the starry night sky can not fail to go - it is one of the least polluted skies in the world, in a journey with astrophotography of the best quality possible, in which Egon also expresses his great knowledge in an interactive way with great storytelling. It lives from sunset to the deep night illuminated by 6,000 stars, all with professional photos taken by him. Unforgettable memories!

Our experience was unforgettable! Egon is very attentive and explains very well on various topics during the tour! It was a great opportunity to get to know better about the nature of the region, and clear about the stars and constellations. Storytelling from start to finish makes the immersion complete in the tour. We encourage everyone to have the opportunity.

The knowledge that Mr. Egon Filter has of the subject is the result of many years of study and training as an International Authority in the subject. The content addresses the origins of life, the location of the stars, theories of the formation of the universe under the perspective of astronomy, the development of the human and animal species on planet Earth as well as aspects of environmental preservation and mental, physical and spiritual health. In fact, it is an intimate experience for reflection and lifelong use. I highly recommend. It is a lot of information carefully prepared with clear and easy-to-understand didactics presented by Mr. Filter who is highly trained.

Sure! Here is a shorter and more informal version: ⸻ Egon always says that every good trip deserves a storytelling, and the astronomical tour in Cambará do Sul has become a good story. The experience has already started incredibly, with a sunset of sparkling. Then, when night fell, the sky became a separate show. Egon guided everything in a light way, showing constellations, telling curiosities, stories and everything with great beauty and contemplation It was beautiful, unforgettable and of those moments that we want to keep forever. ⸻

A unique and unforgettable night! Egon involves all “travellers” with this incredible experience. A very well structured tour, with a very good storytelling. I indicate to everyone who intends to walk through Cambará.

Fantastic astronomical tour. I loved Egon's story telling and also its development with both the knowledge of the cosmos and mythology and, above all, photography with the stars, with an analysis of where we come from and where we go that expands our worldview. Just don't lose.
