During High Season pre-reserved tickets can be very popular at certain time slots which can lead to people waiting in the "pre-reserved ticket holders" queue
No wheelchairs, walkers, nor elevator access available during the tour. Please consider mobility limitations before booking
Strollers of any kind are not allowed. Kids under 6 are not permitted on this tour.
Arrive at the designated meeting point 10 minutes before the start time. Our tours depart sharp on time as we have specific entry times reserved for the Acropolis.
Tickets are timed and expire within 5 to 10 minutes. It is not possible to join our tours after they started. No refunds will be due if you are late.
Tips/gratuities (for your guide) are always appreciated.
Please wear proper walking shoes. Flipflops, slippers, sandals are not allowed.
Getting to the meeting spot from the port may need extra time, please consider using the metro. Tours depart with 5 minutes grace period

5.00An excellent tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a great history lesson. The details and stories told about the history of these ruins were fantastic. A lot of context was added that you would not get if you just went through the ruins yourself or went through the museum alone, reading plaques.

5.00My wife and I took this tour while we were in Athens and it was excellent. Our Tour guide was very knowledgable about the Acropolis and the surrounding area. Our tickets to the acropolis museum were paid for and our tour guide got us in quick. Throughout the tour, our guide explain many of the sites around the acropolis and there meaning. We were able to go the Acropolis and learn about its history. After going to the site, we then took a guided tour of the Acropolis Museum with our guide who left us there to explore. It was a great tour and I would use Walks in Europe again.

5.00It was a walking tour and we met the guide on time at the meeting point. The guide was Lisa and she was so knowledgeable and friendly in her commentary that the whole time spent on the tour was thoroughly enjoyable. She was attentive for our safety and very helpful on the steeper parts of the walk. In the Museum she gave a marvellous commentary on the various exhibits and answered all the questions asked of her. It really was a delight to have taken part on this tour and we feel as we got our moneys worth. Thankyou to the operators of this tour and a really big thank you to Lisa.
Well worth it! Learned so much.

5.00Eva (Ava?) was a wealth of knowledge and pointed out many aspects of the Acropolis and surroundings we would not have known without her help. She is a former teacher and great at making connections to elements previously touched upon. We made lasting memories and would work with her again.

5.00Our guide Petros was excellent, explaining with a touch of humour. The Parthenon and Erechteion are beautiful. Please don’t skip the Museum! That’s where the real Caryatids are and you can see them so well. For me, the Museum was the highlight of the day. I would have loved to stay longer and see more but we were tired after all the walking!!!

5.00Our guide was lovely, very knowledgeable and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The tour lasted for 3 hours which was about right. We saw everything we wanted and got plenty of photo opportunities. Highly recommend.
