Midway, we take a well-deserved break to enjoy coffee or tea and a chocolate waffle, all from a reserved table with breathtaking Acropolis views – the perfect moment to soak it all in!

5.00We did the bike tour with Active Athens Holidays as a family with two teens (13 and 15) and had such a great experience. Til and Andreas were incredibly accommodating, super knowledgeable, and just genuinely lovely people. They made the three hours really entertaining and kept everyone engaged the whole time. A perfect way to explore the city and learn along the way. Thanks again from the Watts and Luff family. Wheely on!

5.00Our tour guide was Andrew. He always made sure we were entertained, but more importantly, that we were safe. Instructions were clear, and whenever we stopped, before we began riding again, he would warn us what the next riding portion would be like (crowded; uphill; downhill...)

5.00We had a great time exploring Athens, finding areas we wouldn’t have found on our own and covering more ground than we could have done only on foot. We were lucky enough to end up with a private tour, just the four of us, so could see a lot in our 3 hours. We had some fabulous e-bikes that made the ride very chilled and our 11 year old was able to join us on a good mountain bike with suspension to help with pavements (some tours do not allow 11 year olds). Our guide Andreas and his colleague Niko were knowledgeable and patient and we enjoyed a great coffee stop with a fabulous view of the Acropolis. We went back to a few of the things we had seen on our next day. We would definitely recommend this tour.

5.00Till, my leader was very knowledgeable and fun! The tour meandered through a mostly flat area in the heart of Athens, with stops at the historical sites. Till had recently finished his masters in Balkan Studies, which includes archeology and history, so he was extremely knowledgeable. His English was flawless because of his time in the U.S. as an exchange student. He also speaks German and French fluently! The electric bike worked flawlessly. We had a fun coffee stop and Till treated me to a chocolate covered waffle. Delicious! Highly recommend this tour.

5.00We were accompanied by the very friendly Nina on our tour. Nina knows her subject well it was a very pleasant outing and rich in descriptions. We enjoyed very good mountain bikes. Athens goes up and down! Electric assistance would have been a plus 🙂we had not taken the option. But it's completely manageable without it.

5.00This was an excellent tour and I thoroughly recommend it. The guide, Menelaos, was not only very knowledgeable but also good company. Monuments and sites which you might otherwise just walk past were brought to life by his story telling. This gives you ideas about where to revisit during the remainder of your stay. I suggest choosing the ebike option as there are more gradients in Athens than you might imagine.
