5.00We traveled with MSC Cruises from Piraeus Port on a Mediterranean cruise and decided to book a private tour outside the cruise ship. It was much more affordable, and although we were initially a bit worried, everything was perfectly organized! Our guide was amazing — in just 5 hours we visited the Acropolis, the Old City, and all the main attractions of Athens, with plenty of time to return safely to the ship. The whole experience was smooth, informative, and stress-free. Thank you very much for the excellent organization and for making our day in Athens unforgettable!

1.00Although we were aware that this was not a guided tour, the tour was not organized and we didn't get ear pieces and could not hear a lot of what the guide was telling us about where to go and where to meet when we were through. He gave us a QR code to listen about the history of the sights at the Acropolis, which was supposed to walk us through each section, but the audio kept going back to the beginning point. We, and others in our group got frustrated and turned it off. We also should have been told to bring our own headphones for our individual phones so that maybe we could have heard some of it. I would recommend that if you are going to the Acropolis that you take a fully guided tour. Plaka was beautiful but very crowded.

5.00Excellent tour. The guide Vasilis is very nice and spoke very well in English and Spanish. See the highlights of Athens. We were picked up at the cruise port and at the end of the tour we were dropped off right there. We were able to enter the Acropolis without long waits.

3.00On Friday, September 26th, 2025, we took the Sights of Athens: Hop-On, Hop-Off Bus (blue double-decker). Unfortunately, the experience was very unpleasant due to the driver’s behavior. The bus license plate was YNX-9978. While we were sitting on the upper deck, the driver suddenly shouted aggressively through the loudspeaker: “No eating on the bus, no eating on the bus” in a very rude tone. Then he stopped the bus, came upstairs, and started yelling at a lady who apparently did not understand English. Instead of explaining calmly, he shouted in a very impolite and aggressive manner. The lady, clearly upset, had to leave the bus. For the rest of the passengers, this was extremely uncomfortable and left a very bad impression of the service. Such behavior is unacceptable for a tourist service that represents Athens to international visitors.

5.00Thanos was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Our group enjoyed the locations he took us too on the tour. The bus picked us up at the cruise terminal and dropped us off at the end of the 5 hour tour. The value for what we received was amazing. If you plan to take this tour make sure you ask for Thanos.
