Eva’s deep knowledge of local cuisine and culture made every stop memorable. Not only did we taste a wide variety of authentic Greek dishes, but we also learned fascinating stories and history behind each location. The warmth and enthusiasm she brings to the tour truly set it apart from any other experience we’ve had. Bonus was the awesome pics she took of our family.

This walking food tour with Eva was perfect. We tried so many different foods from a great variety of shops, markets, and restaurants. We were so full at the end and had plenty of leftovers to take home too. She also mixed in a good amount of history and general knowledge of the area. Lastly, Eva is such a sweet person and running this tour solo, so you know that she will be your guide. We prefer this more personal tour compared to the larger tour companies.

Definitely come hungry because you will leave very full - it’s fantastic!! Love supporting small businesses and Eva’s food tour does not disappoint. First, she is an absolute joy. She wraps you in love immediately and it’s hard not to be captivated with Athens as she shows you around. From hidden cobblestoned walkways, to gorgeous views of Athens from above, to crowded city streets - she showed it to us all. And then there’s all of the food. So delicious! Every place we entered we were welcomed like family because of the love they have for Eva. Such a beautiful experience. Don’t hesitate to book this tour, it’ll be a highlight of your trip!

What an amazing food tour. Eva was exceptional. We really learned a lot and saw some hidden areas I would have never been able to find on my own. Oh plus the food was amazing! We had just an awesome afternoon on this tour - the amount of food you get and the places you go and the things you see made the start of our trip the most wonderful experience !!! Eva is passionate and energetic about her country’s food. There are several stops along the way, so pace yourself because you will eat A LOT. We walked through different neighborhoods and saw some interesting things we never would have found on our own. This is a great way to see the city with a local. Wear some comfortable shoes because there is a lot of walking.

Now I understand the 5 star reviews! Our time with Eva (it was just the two of us) felt like visiting a dear friend in their home. When Eva promises a “food coma” she delivers. We had a tour that included numerous good stops, some history, and many laughs. After numerous samples from unique spots we sat down for dinner! I am still thinking about the fava dip and dakos salad. The pace was good and Eva was just delightful. You won’t be sorry and after hearing about other tours we are so glad our time was with Eva, the woman from the village😘

Wonderful walking tour with our guide, Eva. We went thru Plaka, Monasteraki & Acropolis areas, tasting, touring & learning along the way. The tour culminated with a delicious traditional meal at a restaurant we never would have found on our own. Appropriate for children-ours loved the loukoumades shop! Thank you, Eva, for an amazing culinary experience!
