As a (metro) native, I’ve always wanted to take a tour of Atlanta to learn more about the city’s history. Being on my personal Civil Rights journey, this tour offered me so much insight on topics I’d only just heard of— from historical landmarks and civil rights activists, to black owned eateries and pop culture. Omar and Ebby were phenomenal “Journey Ambassadors”. This tour was one of the best I’ve experienced, hands down!

What a great tour. Great to learn more about black history in this part of the US, as well as the civil rights movement. Ebby was very informative and allowed us to express our own thoughts and opinions openly and most importantly ask lots of questions. Although the tour was only meant to be 4 hours, at no point did we feel rushed and the tour lasted well over 5 hours. Thank you - Great day 😊

E.B. did a phenomenal job—truly chef’s-kiss excellence. His knowledge of history was a wealth of insight, and he shared landmarks with perfect timing, right when you needed context to appreciate them. He made the experience feel personal, engaging, and effortless, blending facts with humor in a way that kept everyone interested. You can tell he loves what he does, and that passion showed in every story he told. I left feeling like I learned something meaningful, not just passed through a tour. Outstanding guide—I would absolutely recommend E.B. to anyone.

The tour was very informative, interesting, and insightful. I appreciated visiting local black-owned businesses (I will definitely return to Afro Centric Network!), leaning more about the HBCUs and how impactful Atlanta has been not only to the Civil Rights Movement but also to black culture!

This was the best tour I’ve ever been on in my life. Ibrahim and Dave are great guys. Ibrahim is a history expert that entertained and educated us on not only formal and popular history of the city of Atlanta, but also gave us local stories and personal experiences that made me feel like I understood the city of Atlanta way more than I ever expected to. Upon getting home I’ve already recommended this tour to my friends who are coming to ATL. This is exactly how a tour should be and I have zero complaints.
