10/10 experience! Our tour guide Jeff, was an absolute treat for this four hour experience. The bonus was a nice group to travel with as a solo traveler and having the charisma of Jeff as our tour guide made for a perfect afternoon.l! I've been to Atlanta before and it was really refreshing to see this wonderful city through a different lens. We learned a lot about not only the black history of Atlanta but different neighborhoods, and how Atlanta continues to evolve as a city. He was punctual, personable, and accommodating to time and space to allow us to explore off of the transport bus-really, time went back quickly! I would recommend to go for anybody new to the city and wanting a diverse and comprehensive view of the city!! Thanks again Jeff for a wonderful experience and perfect recommendation for my lemon pepper wings!! Boston, MA

Do yourself a favor and sign up for Atlanta Black History Civil Rights Tour. Truly a fantastic experience. We were blessed with the amazing Mr.Akinsika (Omar), Chief Journey Ambassador as our host. Omar is without question, truly an outstanding professional that does a tremendous job. He has a vast range of knowledge and provides an in-depth look at the city of Atlanta regarding a plethora of topics. In all my years of military and travel, Omar is truly one of the best at what he does that I have seen. His knowledge mixed with his passion for history combined with that “Omar personality”, leaves you feeling definitely happy with your decision, surprised at the amount of quality information (no fluff) and yet at times not wanting it to end. A supreme wealth of knowledge from the days of old school encyclopedia to new school ChatGPT. Including commentary from Famous celebs, Murals on buildings, HBCU’s and more. Omar over delivers in a positive and impactful way. You will definitely leave knowing way more about the city that you did the day before. My queen and I are truly grateful that Omar was selected as our host for this amazing experience. Big thanks to Omar for the great job and the birthday song. (Alaska).
