Atlantis Submarines Barbados
On the hour we invite you to board our transfer vessel the Ocean Quest, which will take you to the submarine. Sit back and enjoy the brief boat ride to the Atlantis dive site along the scenic coastline, as the professional crew welcomes you and gives a safety briefing. The vessels tie up alongside each other and you make the easy transfer from the Ocean Quest to the Atlantis Submarine. After securing the hatches and being seated in the air-conditioned comfort, the call is made to: “Dive! Dive! Dive!” You are now fully submerged in the aquamarine Caribbean Sea with large viewports all around, as curious exotic fish peek in at you and sea fans sway. This unique “must-do” undersea voyage, can take you to a shipwreck and to depths of 150 feet, which in the past has been reserved only for scuba divers. A knowledgeable co-pilot narrates the 40 minute underwater adventure and will help you to identify the amazing sights on the other side of your window.

This tour and ride was amazing from beginning to end. Tour guides were very knowledgeable and professional. Fun for both adults and kids.

Great experience. Easy to find. You’re underwater in the submarine for about 45 to 15 minutes. The rest of the time you are taking the boat to the actual submarine. Total you need about two hours for the whole excursion. Really cool experience. Got to see lots of coral and fish. Not a huge variety of sea life as you would expect what otherwise a cool and unique experience. The staff are really friendly and accommodating.

First, it is a submarine, so it is a tight fit! You descend into the sub by ladder and the seating is narrow. This is not a tour for the very large or mobility-restricted. The tour itself is cool. The staff is funny, friendly, and engaging. It was all clean and the ride was smooth. We viewed a reef and shipwreck, and saw plenty of sea life. There were no issues or complaints.

Very interesting seeing all the sealife and coral. It was sometimes hard to hear the guides commentary due to noisy kids and poor sound system. But overall an enjoyable experience.

This tour is very well done and you will totally enjoy it! Be aware that a boat takes you out to deeper water and you then board the submarine. It does not leave from the harbor. For those that get motion sickness this may be a challenge when the sea is rough. Once you go below the surface everything is fine. You must also be able to climb down steps backwards.

A marvelous and unique experience in Barbados 🇧🇧. You get transported from the dock out to the dive site and board the sub near Paradise Beach. The dive lasts about 45 minutes and takes you by a wreck that's now an artificial reef, then you dive to 130 feet to see the natural reef and coral. Fascinating! One thing: book transport from the cruise dock to the sub embarkation point. It's a 20 minute walk but no sidewalks.

A relaxed activity if thats what you're looking for. A bit disappointing though if you are hoping to see a large variety of marine life.

First not sure if wanted to do it, as it seemed to pricey for a short trip ride, but after thinking that it's something that I haven't done before, being all the way underwater in the sea and to see ocean life through a window instead of a TV-screen, I decided to do it with my friend. We had fun and even received a dive certificate for it. We did the day tour, and saw some fishes, but not that much as desired, next time would also go for the night tour which sounds romantic for a date lol. Definitely would do this again at any vacation destination where available.

My husband and I were warmly greeted by Jamiella then checked in by Cedrica. Sherry chatted with me for a bit before the tour, I was very excited since it was my first time, Jamiella and Cedrica ensured me I would be ok and would see fish and they were right on both, Hugh and Rashid were hilarious, they had us laughing from beginning to end, they were plenty fish, also saw a ship wreck, sting rays and a turtle. There was a trainee on board think his name was Isaiah, he was very involved in showing us the safety steps and while he was on the submarine he was taking his notes and grasping all the knowledge he could from Hugh, hopefully on my next trip he will be our pilot 😊

One of the best experiences of our lives. The staff were amazing and very informative. The dive was a great success. Lots of fish and seeing the wreck was great. Highly recommended.
