This is a Guided Tour to discover secluded beaches on an off-roading adventure that takes you off the main road through mountains and rivers to explore parts of the region that are only accessible by all-terrain-vehicles. Independent travelers can choose their own ATV and experience the excitement of driving, while couples or families with kids can choose a 2 or 4 Seater BUGGY or a double ATV as well (driver + passenger) and ride together.
Important: If you are an adult and want to go as a passenger on a Double ATV, select option KID. Minimum for a Tour to run is 1 ATVs or 1 Buggy.

What To Expect
Huacas
The tour will start & finish the tour at The 506 Transfers & Tours Headquarters located at Huacas, the only Tour Company with a driving test ride. Once your training ride is concluded, and all your comfortable and ready, you’ll start your tour.
Playa Mina
Costa Rica is known for its beautiful white sandy beaches that are all around the coast. The Blackstone Beach is just the opposite, its a beautiful black sand beach. Next to the Blackstone Beach is also Playa Minas & Puerto Viejo (next to reserva conchal). We will visit 2 beaches based on the driving skills of the group.

Fun ATV ride to beautiful beaches

5.00We had an overall fun experience doing the ATV rides to a couple beaches. We had a nice air conditioned van ride pick us up from our VRBO and bring us to the site where the ATVs left from. They were very safety conscious and had us watch a short video and our guide Reynols gave us detailed operating instructions plus had us go thru a little testing track to make sure we all felt comfortable and drove safely. Since it was the dry season he suggested we buy the bandannas to keep the dust out of our mouths and noses. We also had helmets and safety goggles. The ride was through some back roads and some pretty countryside which gave us a good look at the less touristy parts of the area. Reynols was a great guide - made sure we were all safely following and he also took video for us with our daughter’s camera. The beaches were beautiful - the first had howler monkeys in the trees which our kids loved and the second had some pretty shells we checked out. We all got more comfortable with driving as the tour went on and we all were able to navigate the various bumpy obstacles with confidence. Upon return they had fresh cut pineapple for us which was delicious and a great way to end our dusty but very fun experience!

5.00This ATV tour can’t be beat. It was a fun afternoon with guides who were both super fun and focused on safety. ATVs were in good working order and the guides took great photos for us at several stops along the way. Highly recommend this group!

5.00we had an incredible experience! Our tour guide, Reynols, was knowledgeable and fun. Took us to two beaches and along back roads around Tamarindo for a 2 hour tour. We saw the howling moneys and the cliff overlooking the ocean. Highly recommend. One note - i would bring a face cover or purchase their bandanas for $5 each. I underestimated the Costa Rican dust which made for a funny photo. Our group was 6 total on 3 UTVs - perfect size group.

5.00Hilmar and Samul were excellent guides! We had a group of 6-perfect size. We rode dirt roads and trails and stopped at 2 beautiful beaches. We saw 2 kinds of monkeys along the way. It was safe, fun and enjoyable for all levels of skill on atv’s. We ended with some delicious fresh pineapple. Highly recommend this company and these guides!

5.00Our guide Gustavo was incredible! Trip was a lot of fun but made even better by Gus. He was fun, knowledgable, and patient with those that had not been on ATVs before. He even recommended the best Pina Coladas we had all week. I cannot say enough about him.

5.00My siblings and I wanted to do a few hours of ATV and zip lining. They offered all of this at a great price. The ATV trail was great and challenging. Got my fill time wise going to the zoo lines and back to the start. The Zip lines are lovely views of the country! Time well spent with family.
