What To Expect

This Roatan guided ATV tour And community adventure Departing from your hotel or cruise port your small group, you will first make your way towards the East End. Along the way you will hear of the island's colorful history, which includes Indians, slaves, invaders, pirates, buried gold, and a charming blend of cultures, people and languages. The main languages are Spanish, English, and Garifuna, which holds on to its African roots. You will make your first stop at our famous island flavor restaurant were you will get a safety instructions and information before the staff will pass out your gear and show you to the ATVs. You will have a practice session to get familiar driving the ATV before you head out. These are new model, easy-driving, automatic ATV's, making it easy for all to drive. Note that this is a controlled, guided ATV excursion with no speeding, etc. allowed. Helmets must be worn at all time during the excursion. Guests 6 years old and up are welcome as passengers for double riding option, single ATV riders must be 16 years of age or older on this tour You will pass through several of the small villages of the island and make stops for pictures

My driver Shem, was very wonderful. Super kind, knowledgeable and funny. During the ATV tour, Julio the instructor was very fun and kind as well. This excursion was one of the best!!😃

Disappointed. Our tour guide Brent was cool, the ATV experience was ok. It was a quick ride through small villages and we were supposed to have a beach outing, but the one they took us too was near the ship, which I could have done for free! I was not happy, the tour description is not accurate and way overpriced! Don't expect much if you book.

ATVing was fun, exciting and adventurous! Tour guides were good. The time was good but could be longer as it was that much fun The other inclusions are time permitting, and you may have to pay to go to a beach closer to the ship.

The ride itself was okay, but our ATV guide kept rushing us. Not worth it, and it’s so expensive. Also our tour guide grabbed a drink and gave a sign to the cashier at the chocolate factory to add the soda to our bill. Like that it’s not right. I didn’t read anywhere that I have to tip & treat my guide. That’s up to the tourist. After the chocolate factory we requested to be dropped where we were picked off, and we continued on our own to the beach. Don’t waste your money with this people.
Our guide kept rushing us; he kept looking at his watch and kept rushing us.

Also our guide grabbed a drink and gave a sign to the cashier at the chocolate factory to add the soda to our bill. Like that it’s not right. I didn’t read anywhere that I have to tip & treat my guide. That’s up to the tourist. Don’t este your money with this people.

Great experience. Tour guides were easy to find from the cruise port. Island tour was nice and ATV ride was a lot of fun. Our guide, Derick was very nice. The guys on the ATV ride were excellent including Brent!

We had a great time on this excursion. Our guide, Harley, was very friendly & informative. He drove us to each destination & made sure we had everything we needed. Riding atvs through the local areas was fun, & we stopped at a couple of places & shopped for souvenirs. Harley took us to the beach (Las Palmas) & we had a great time there! The food was excellent & it was absolutely gorgeous!!! Harley came back to get us at the time we asked & made sure we were back to our cruise ship on time. Overall we really enjoyed the excursion!

Fantastic trip! Kambron was an outstanding tour guide. We were joined by one other couple so it was practically a private excursion. Fun riding ATVs in the regular neighborhoods and along the coast seeing areas inaccessible by car. Although we were supposed to spend time on the beach, we asked Kambron if he could instead take us to the sloth and monkey sanctuary that we had heard about. He arranged for us to go, and it was the highlight of the day! We got to hold the sloths, monkeys, and macaws, and the monkeys were particularly playful, jumping on our backs and shoulders while moving from person to person. At the end of the trip, we wanted to try some fried conch for lunch. Kambron took us to a local restaurant where we had fried lobster and conch. He waited for us and took us back to the ship when we were finished. A great day in port. Would highly recommend Roatan Henry Tours and Kambron the tour guide.

It was a good way of seeing the other side of the island. Downside was getting into contact with the operator to figure out details about pickup. Felt it could have been better experience with stops for points of interest. The guide/ person who picked us up provided a lot of information about the island during the drive to the ATV.
