Paula took us on an interesting & informative tour of Auckland city. We gained a clear glimpse into the early history. We saw historical streets, buildings & monuments & got a feel of what life was like for early settlers. Enjoyed our tour very much. Perfectly timed coffee stop & a very Insta-worthy Heart of the City wall mural. Lovely finish overlooking the Harbour.

A very enjoyable walk around central Auckland. Paula shared lots of interesting stories about historical figures and events, including Maori myths, many of which I hadn't heard before. I highly recommend this tour.

Paula did a great job. She is extremely informative throughout the tour. She took breaks as needed to make sure we were comfortable with the pace. She shared personal stories about living in New Zealand. Her website has recommendations for things to do after the tour, and great places to eat.

I recently joined a small group walking tour of Auckland City with Paula, the guide behind “Auckland Story,” and it was a thoroughly enjoyable and insightful experience. Our group of five made for a relaxed and personal atmosphere, and Paula’s knowledge of Auckland’s history added real depth to the walk. The tour was well-paced, and Paula shared a range of interesting historical facts that brought the city’s past to life. It was clear she’s deeply passionate about Auckland and its stories, and we all walked away having learned something new. Paula offers both guided walking tours and self-guided Voicemap audio tours, which makes it easy to explore Auckland in a way that suits your schedule. I’d highly recommend her tours to both locals and visitors looking to discover more about the city’s heritage in an engaging way.
