We are about to introduce you to the most original, ultimately fun, and a fantastic way of experiencing the Northern lights. Take a dip in a frozen lake under the Northern lights!

Swimming in an icy lake sounds like a challenge, but once you put on our floating suits, you won't feel cold. In fact, you will feel amazing! The suits are made of a light waterproof material that will keep you warm and safe.

What To Expect

After a hotel pick up, we will take a 25-minute drive to a lake where our Northern lights adventure will take place. Once we give you some tips, go through safety instructions, and dress you up in our suits, you can take a dip in the icy lake and enjoy the sky above you. Swimming takes place in an icy hole, and we guarantee that you won't be cold! In fact, you will feel amazing. The suits will keep you warm so you can relax and enjoy the starry skies above you. Northern lights are a natural phenomenon, and we cannot guarantee that you will get to see them. Why? Because, nature is unpredictable and as much as we wish to look at the lights every night, sometimes we won't be that lucky. However, we organize this tour from autumn to spring when the chances of seeing Northern lights are the highest! To give you the best Lappish experience we'll serve warm drinks by an open fire, share some cookies and have our cozy wooden cottage available for those who want to snuggle up before we head back. The adventure usually last for 3 hours. That's plenty of time to enjoy swimming in the icy waters!

Very nice experience. Peaceful and safe to do. Worth the time. Didn’t get to see the Aurora lights as it was cloudy. The host Matteo was very kind and patient.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently did the Aurora Arctic Ice Floating in Rovaniemi and it was truly unforgettable. Floating in a thermal suit in an icy lake under the dark Lapland sky was both peaceful and surreal. The staff were professional, friendly, and made sure we were safe and comfortable at all times. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see the Northern Lights due to cloud cover, which is why I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars — but that’s just nature. The overall experience was still magical, and the sensation of weightlessness in the cold water was something I’ll never forget. Highly recommended for anyone looking to do something out of the ordinary in Lapland!

Spectacular experience! Truly one of a kind! We arrived in Rovaniemi and at the communicated time Santiago (our Argentina guide who traveled the world) arrived super on time, super friendly and helpful. Our English is not perfect, and he has undertaken to understand us even a little in Italian! Really cute! With the van we left and after 30 minutes of travel we arrive at the place chosen for the adventure; and taaaacccccc Northern Lights! Now! Magic! Santiago immediately made himself available to take pictures of us, and the result is spectacular! After the photos, ready to get dressed, after some useful info, away to the frozen lake; I was afraid of being cold, instead the suits are really waterproof! We stayed in the lake No problems! Those who wanted could get out of the water at any time, and after the snack bath with typical Cinnamon biscuits (WHICH I LOVE) and their typical hot juice (TASTY). Some final chat, with the guides and with the other people in the group, exchange of photos and off we go again to Rovaniemi. In all it lasted 3 hours more or less! WHAT A SPECTACULAR EXPERIENCE! 🤩 We bathed at night, so the lake and the landscape around were very dark, who is afraid I recommend to do the tour during the day. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING! THANK YOU SANTIAGO!☺️

Great experience, starting from pickup where we met our guide, Victor. After a short drive, we arrived at the lake and got into our floating suits. It was simply beautiful and we were fortunate to see the northern lights. 10/10 recommend, as the ice floating itself was fun and super peaceful. Thank you Victor for the great chat and for being an awesome guide.

It was really great, our guide Victor was super nice and it was great organized. We didn't see the Northern Lights, unfortunately, but we could admire the stars for that. We would do it again in a heartbeat.

the experience we loved, Mattia and Alex were super welcoming, nice and attentive. After the experience they offered us typical tea and biscuits, giving us time to warm up a bit and telling us several anecdotes about Finland and Lapland in particular. Absolutely recommended!

Brandan the tour guide was so lovely! Very informative and funny. An overall magical experience, floating is very tranquil and you can hardly feel the cold at all. Had some lovely traditional hot drinks ready for when you get out! And cookies! Such a nice time and the highlight of my trip.
