After a hotel pick up, we will take a 25-minute drive to a lake where our Northern lights adventure will take place. Once we give you some tips, go through safety instructions, and dress you up in our suits, you can take a dip in the icy lake and enjoy the sky above you. Swimming takes place in an icy hole, and we guarantee that you won't be cold! In fact, you will feel amazing. The suits will keep you warm so you can relax and enjoy the starry skies above you. Northern lights are a natural phenomenon, and we cannot guarantee that you will get to see them. Why? Because, nature is unpredictable and as much as we wish to look at the lights every night, sometimes we won't be that lucky. However, we organize this tour from autumn to spring when the chances of seeing Northern lights are the highest! To give you the best Lappish experience we'll serve warm drinks by an open fire, share some cookies and have our cozy wooden cottage available for those who want to snuggle up before we head back. The adventure usually last for 3 hours. That's plenty of time to enjoy swimming in the icy waters!

Ice floating was incredibly fun and unlike anything else we’ve done. Although we didn’t see the northern lights due to the brightness of the full moon, we were lucky enough to see several shooting stars, which made the night feel magical in its own way. The guide was fantastic—friendly, professional, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and had a great time. Even without the aurora, this was absolutely worth it and a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend.

Very nice experience, and it was possible to witness one-of-a-kind Aurora sightings, so worth it!! The drive was super easy to reach the destination. The Glogi was so refreshing.

Do it!! It was unique experience that made me smile non-stop. I thought I would be in and out of the water in a matter of seconds but we staying in for an almost an hour! No northern lights but that didn’t reduce our pleasure at all :) Brendan was a super host.

Amazing experience. Didn’t get the northern lights but being able to lie down in a cold lake and look up at the clear starry sky. Given lots of time in the lake floating.

This experience was amazing! Brandon was awesome and such an attentive guide. We loved peacefully floating and luckily got to see the northern lights. I think it would be worth it even if you didn't see the northern lights.

Even though we didn't see the northern lights as it was overcast, I would still recommend the floating. There is nothing more relaxing than floating in the night sky and the guide was great. The group was just the right size

Victor, our guide, was very friendly to make the whole experience much more relaxed. The ice floating was my favorite part of visiting Rovaniemi, I loved how we could float as long (or as little as we liked). In the insulated suits, I didn't feel cold. And while I normally am a bit uneasy with dark water, I felt perfectly safe in the suits floating around. We saw a spectacular show of Northern Lights, with green, red/purple, and white! There was a lot of movement of the lights, and it was a perfect, quiet spot to view them.

Amazing experience. Beautiful site. Facilities & equipment were perfectly maintained. Guides were personable, funny, and engaging. On the evening we went, we had two groups with 16 people total split in two van. Pickup was exactly at the scheduled time. Vans were comfortable. Ride out to the site took about 40 minutes. The guides explained the process to us, then suited us up into the survival suits. We are from Florida so we were worried that we’d be cold. That was unwarranted. The suits keep you comfortable for about 30 minutes of water immersion. The darkness of the night and the stillness of the surrounds create a magical experience. The night we went it was cloudy so no Northern lights but it was still well worth it. After about half an hour you begin feeling the cold in your hands but it’s not like you are freezing. I headed out, but there were several people who stayed in the water for almost an hour. After the experience you head back inside the dressing cabin and are given a warm drink and cookies. When everyone is out, has had something to eat and drink and is ready to go, you are loaded back into the van and head back. The whole process was about 3 hours. I would highly recommend it. I’d say it is a once in a lifetime experience but I can wait to do it the next time we are in Rovaniemi.
