Troms
We will chase in the Troms region. Depending on the weather, and weather forecast we will travel out from the city. Some evenings we will be staying around the coast. Other evenings we will go towards inland. We have private camp locations all around the region, and we will sometimes use them, so we can stay at a private location instead of a shared parking lot with many other companies. These private locations also have toilets, which we can use.

After landing in Tromso in snowfall and cloudy weather, we had already given up hope of an aurora sighting. The booked tour took us a few kilometers further north. With a total of 4 stops we were able to collect fantastic impressions. We felt optimally looked after by our guide Isabell. It was probably thanks to their sense that we saw aurora borealis, which makes any nature documentary look bad. The return journey was shortened with stories from the land of trolls. Isabell has a great storytelling voice for that. We would love to ride again (especially with her).

Went with my family on the minibus aurora chase last night and it was fantastic. Our guide Juan was very knowledgeable and passionate, the minibus driver (Marty/martin?) was friendly and chatty too. We were incredibly lucky that Juan found the ideal spot for us where we saw the northern lights so clearly. You could see them dancing too. Our spot was so good that we didn’t have to move away from it at all! Such a fantastic experience

An excellent evening discovering the Northern Lights. Thanks to our guide Ambre, we spent nearly two hours watching an incredible show. Well done to Ambre and our fantastic driver Magnet (?).

We had an amazing experience doing the Northern Lights tour with Ambre and Magne! Both guides were very kind, professional and shared a lot of knowledge about the Northern Lights and the whole region. Also for the booking, we were assisted by Nancy, who explained to us all the details about the tour, the booking process and any other details required. The service experience was very professional and helpful. We saw the lights and it was a magical experience! Also, Ambre took some amazing pictures of us. We highly recommend booking this tour!

We did the minibus tour with Isabel. That day it was very cloudy, and we were already quite pessimistic about seeing the aurora borealis at all. But Isabel has continuously checked the weather conditions and drove us specifically to the best spots. Thanks to their commitment and experience, we were able to marvel at the beautiful aurora borealis at the end. She also captured these unforgettable moments with great photos for us. A very clear recommendation and thanks to Isabel!!

Anastasia was a sincere and friendly guide. She was very patient in explaining all the details about the northern lights and the tour. Despite the bad weather, we were lucky to catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights (thanks to Anastasia's sincerity). She tried several other spots for another chance of viewing without luck. Overall, I recommend this tour.

Great experience partly because of the guide Isabella who does everything to locate the northern lights. Impressive!

I teach at the university in a master’s program in Natural Heritage. I teach a course in which we discuss the role that a tourist guide should have, especially in natural environments. On our excursion to discover the auroras, Isabella: • Planned and executed the route and activities impeccably. • Conveyed passion, sharing her enthusiasm and excitement. • Through her explanations, helped us understand the scientific interpretations and the historical, cultural, and traditional context of the auroras, turning every moment into a meaningful experience. A person dedicated to guiding must have certain qualities, abilities, and skills. Isabella was kind, authentic, sociable, friendly, confident, and well organized. In addition, she has excellent oral communication skills, with a very pleasant tone of voice and clear diction. Despite not being from Norway, she demonstrated strong knowledge of the subject, the territory, and the culture. Just one suggestion for the company: it would be good to create small posters with diagrams explaining the scientific origin of the auroras and the colours that can be seen, to briefly help complement the guides’ explanations. My partner and I have done three activities. And all three were fantastic. We started with the Aurora Safari Minibus with Johnny as driver and Isabell as guide. Both fantastic. Johnny for his driving skills with the comfortable minibus in the snowy landscape and Isabell for her enthusiasm, humour and knowledge. We made several stops and were able to take beautiful pictures of the Northern Lights at all stops! The second activity was the Tromso Dog Sledding. After the ride in the comfortable coach and the clear explanation of the instructor we made a beautiful trip with the Huskies through the snowy landscape. Afterwards a nice cup of soup and hot chocolate to warm up. Friendly people and top arranged! The last activity was the Silent Whale Watching. Under the inspiring and enthusiastic leadership of Olek, Connor and Nilma we followed a beautiful group of killer whales. Olek and Connor shared a lot of information with us during this trip and we were lucky to see this group of killer whales. All in all, all three activities are definitely recommended!!
