Firstly, we booked this tour because we had left buying tickets from the official Auschwitz museum too late and had the impression that we were getting a "skip the line" ticket. It turns out that there is no such thing. If you are foolish enough to leave booking tickets late, getting in will require queuing up very early in the morning, in the cold and rain (if you're lucky like us) to have a chance of getting in. However, booking with Bohdan and the team ended up being the best decision we made as they ensured we arrived in time to join the front of the queue and secured us one of the first tours of the day. Bohdan was very professional and made the process streamlined and comfortable. The tour itself was a sobering reminder of the reality of these camps. After this tour we were driven to the salt mine where we enjoyed a lovely meal with our guide and travelling companions, followed by the mine tour itself. This tour took us deep into the earth with much to see and be educated about. We really enjoyed our tour with Bohdan and it was rewarding to share these experiences with our fellow travelling companions.

We managed to get on this trip at pretty short notice & are really glad we did. It was a long day and Bohdan took great care of us throughout. The Memorial and Museum at Auschwitz-Birkenau is a must visit and the museum guide who took our tour was knowledgeable, it’s a very sobering experience and overwhelming to see the scale of what happened there. We then drove to the Wieliczka Salt Mine, and stopped for some food before taking the guided tour. This was another excellent tour with just the right mix of facts and storytelling. The underground chapels and sculptures are amazing - huge chandeliers made of salt crystals to massive caverns that feel almost otherworldly. Be prepared for a full day & lots of walking but if you have a guide as good as Bohdan you’ll have a really great day. Thanks also to our fellow travellers who also made it a great day.

My twin brother and I did the one-day Auschwitz / Birkenau / Salt Mine trip from Krakow yesterday, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. First, a huge thank-you to Gabriel, our driver for the day. He was fantastic—punctual, friendly, and he went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. He made sure we were comfortable the entire time, kept us informed about the schedule, and handled everything so smoothly that we didn’t have to worry about a thing. His professionalism and warm personality made the day even better. At Auschwitz and Birkenau, our guide Barbara was exceptional. Her knowledge was deep, her explanations were clear and respectful, and she guided us through such difficult history with compassion and care. She brought so much context to every part of the visit, and we really appreciated how she helped us understand not only the facts but also the human stories behind them. The entire day was perfectly organized, moving seamlessly from the memorial sites to the stunning Wieliczka Salt Mine. We loved every moment and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended — and a special thank-you again to Gabriel and Barbara for making this trip unforgettable.

I have visited Auschwitz concentration camp and Wieliczka salt mine, it was one of the most powerful and meaningful experiences of my trip. Auschwitz left a deep impact on me, walking through the grounds and seeing the remnants of the camp gave me real insights into the realities of what happened before. It was emotional, eye opening and something I believe everyone should witness at least once in their lifetime. Wieliczka salt mine was a completely different experience but equally impressive, seeing this was done several hundred years ago. A huge shout-out to Bohdan for the warm hospitality throughout the journey. I am very grateful for the experience and I highly recommend this tour when visiting Poland. Best Regards, From Singapore, Louis

Despite an early start and a long wait to get into Auschwitz, the time passed by really quickly namely due to the staff! Bohdan was a real character. He was lovely and couldn’t do enough to look after us on our trip! We didn’t expect to be to be taught how to play the ukelule, but this was a quirky added bonus. Being in a group of 6 international people made the tour feel quite personal and we all got on really well. What a fascinating 12 hour round trip!!

The tour was excellent! We did a one-day tour — in the morning we visited Auschwitz, and in the afternoon the Salt Mines. Many thanks to Bohdan for being our driver and for always being attentive to us; you definitely made the experience even better!
