We had an amazing day exploring the Atlas Mountains with Halim as our guide. He was knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel personal and relaxed as we spent the day walking through beautiful scenery. A real highlight was enjoying a delicious lunch in a lovely local home, where we felt genuinely welcomed. As a group of five women, the issue of safety and comfort is always paramount, and we are delighted to report that we felt completely safe and at ease throughout our entire trek. The sheer beauty of the landscape from the saw-toothed peaks to the unbelievably fertile. The guiding and logistical support were top, allowing us to focus entirely on the scenery and the enriching cultural immersion. It was the human element, however, that truly made this trip unforgettable. We were profoundly touched by the Barber family's hospitality. Their spirit transformed our trek from a simple hike into a deeply personal connection with the culture. Their insight into the mountain life, their delicious, traditional cooking, and their kindness ensured that we, as five female travellers, felt not just like guests. We recommend this journey to anyone seeking an authentic, challenging, yet entirely secure adventure. To the Barber family, we extend our most heartfelt thanks and wish you all the very best for the future.

I have already traveled with several tourist companies in Morocco, but my experience with Green Atlas Travel was really different. The guide didn’t just show us places, he shared the true Berber culture and daily life with heart and authenticity. Everything was well organized, but what stood out most was the warm and family atmosphere. It was not just a visit, it was like a meaningful human connection. I highly recommend Green Atlas Travel to anyone looking for more than just sightseeing.

From pick up to drop off this was amazing . I was a single female traveller and did a day trek to the local villages and mountains . We stopped and had lunch with a family which was better than any meal I had had in my hotel . The trip was truly one of the best days of my 56 years . We hiked for 6 hours my guide Abdu was so informative and funny . He had to put up with my obsession of animals 🤣🤣 So good I am booking 3 more tours ( 1 overnight ) and coming back with my daughter in September

Mouad our guide was so amazing, he listened to our needs to walk a lot and adapted the whole trek so it was how we wished. These tours are perfect for any person because they make them personal to you. All the villagers we met along the way were so welcoming we are grateful for all the memories we created 🥰🥰 The food was incredible too do not worry about going hungry there is so much home cooking to eat from the vilages! The house of Mr Muhammad in the mountain village was so beautiful and welcoming. Actually we wish we could have had even more days treking with our wonderful guide and friend Mouad. And thanks to Omar and his wife for the Tajine! Looking forward to come back to explore more mountains in the Spring.

We booked a half day trek in to the mountains with Green Atlas Travel. Our guide, Mouad, was brilliant. He was exceptionally knowledgable, very charming and sensitive to what we were interested in. I couldn't recommend him more highly. We were a mix of ages - two 60 year olds, and three 20 year olds and he was able to find things that we were all interested in. He took us to a local Berber house for a meal and the family were lovely and the food delicious. We have done these things before and have often been disappointed but this felt completely authentic and you really felt you were getting an insight into how the local Berber people live.

A throughly enjoyable day in the beautiful Atlas Mountains. We were quite nervous about the term trek but our guide Mouad reassured us. Learning about the country and culture was fascinating. His passion and knowledge of his country and the mountains was evident. The Berber family we visited were so hospitable and provided us with a beautiful meal. We chatted all-day and learned so much. His English was fantastic. The whole tour was very personal it didn’t feel like a manufactured tourist tour.
