Haedong Yonggungsa
Haedong Yonggungsa Temple is the temple closest to the sea. Known as the site of Avalokiteshvara in Korea, it also houses the Diamond Sutra of Haedong Yonggungsa, a tangible cultural property of Busan. Here, you can witness the breathtaking panoramic view of the East Sea.
Cheongsapo Daritdol Skywalk
The Cheongsapo Daritdol Observatory is located on the Green Railway, a walking trail created from the abandoned tracks of the Haeundae South Line. It’s a top attraction in Busan, offering views of the fishing village of Cheongsapo, beautiful coastal scenery, sunrise, and sunset. From the observatory, visitors can admire the natural scenery of Cheongsapo’s stunning coastline and view the five rocky islands, known as Daritdol, lined up all the way to the offshore lighthouse.

The tour was very informative and Yaya was extremely helpful and accommodating. He was also quite knowledgeable and answered all questions asked from our group. He went above and beyond and tried to be accommodating from food choices to drop off spots. My wife and I felt quite comfortable and secure in Yaya’s tour and would request a personal tour and guidance when I return to Busan in the future. Most importantly his English was perfect like a native in USA and I appreciated that. Thank you Yaya for the tour through Busan.

This tour is hands down one of the best travel experiences I’ve had in Korea. Everything from the route to the pacing to the storytelling was so well done. You cover a lot of ground, but it never feels like too much. I loved that we started with the peaceful energy of Haedong Yonggungsa and ended in the lively streets of Nampodong. It gave me a complete picture of Busan. The guide deserves every bit of praise. He was professional but warm, and always aware of how the group was doing. He gave history when it mattered and stayed quiet when the moment called for it. He recommended local snacks I never would’ve tried and helped take beautiful photos for solo travelers. I left this tour feeling like I saw the real Busan, and I truly believe anyone visiting should take this. It’s worth it.

I cannot recommend this tour enough. Every part of it felt well planned yet flexible. We were taken to Busan’s most iconic spots and still had time to breathe and take it all in. Haedong Yonggungsa Temple was a dream waves crashing below as you walk through stone archways. Then later in the day, Gamcheon Village felt like stepping into a living postcard. But the true heart of the day was the guide. He wasn’t just leading us around, he was hosting us in his hometown. He made sure we were comfortable, understood what we were seeing, and genuinely had fun. I noticed he remembered everyone’s name by the second stop and even helped someone find medicine when they mentioned they had a headache. It’s that kind of care that makes this more than a tour. If you’re on the fence, go for it. You won’t regret it.
