My cooking classes are completely à la carte. We choose the menu together to take into account your desires, what you like and possibly your allergies. With more than 20 years of experience, I offer a typical French homemade kitchen (everyday cooking or more sophisticated according to your choice) in a kitchen that could be yours. I only buy fresh seasonal produce (depending on the season) that I pick up at the local market that is held every Thursday morning in the town hall square near my home. Local vegetable, fruit, cheese, meat and poultry producers are my exclusive suppliers. Even flour, I buy 10km from home at the mills of Sologne which makes flours of exceptional quality from varieties of old wheat, with a lower gluten content. In May/June, I pick up strawberries and asparagus directly from the grower in the nearby village. Welcome home!

Natacha took the time to show us the proper way to prepare and present a meal that she had asked us in advance to pick out. She is very careful and meticulous. I told her I am much more wild in the kitchen and she told us it was a good learning opportunity for us. It was. We very much appreciated her patience and kindness and skill.

Natasha was a great host who invited us into her home to participate in preparing a classic French meal. If you are looking to get off the beaten path and get a chance to know more about the local culture this is a perfect opportunity. I would highly recommend this experience. Only thing you need to be aware of is that it is an hour drive from Tours, but we enjoyed the drive through the countryside.

Natacha was absolutely amazing! We've taken cooking classes in Italy with larger groups so cooking in Natacha's lovely home and well-equipped kitchen was such a warm, wonderful experience. We're back home an I've already used some of the new techniques we learned. Thank you Natacha!

Natacha was very warm and welcoming. Pre-planning was thoughtful and considerate. Executioner in her kitchen with expertise and yet you felt like family. Real home cooking that was fantastic. Recipes to keep and repeat, remembering our time together fondly.

The time with Natacha, being taught to make a sumptuous meal of ratatouille, mussels in cream and a pear clafoutis was fantastic!! Bringing us into her home to prep and cook in her wonderful kitchen, created the most authentic experience. We were welcomed with a small treat while sitting together in her cozy living room, just getting to know one another. She was knowledgeable, interactive, instructed us closely and explained everything we were doing throughout. We then sat down to a fully set dining table to eat. She had paired a lovely wine to go with the meal but also had no problem that one of us brought their own wine. She surprised us with homemade sourdough bread that was mouthwatering! Then she brought out already prepared hot zucchini soup in antique shot glasses. Before dessert she shared special Selles sur Cher cheese which was also delicious. The whole evening was fun and relaxing and we appreciated learning about her life and some discussion about France in general. Recommend this experience highly! (we did make one suggestion about letting prospective guests know there is a cat who lives at the home just in case of allergies. She did make sure to ask about any food allergies!)
