You’ll sample classic Austrian dishes like goulash, käsekrainer (sausage with cheese), tafelspitz (boiled beef), and/or krautfleckerl (cabbage and noodles). You’ll also get to taste some Austrian sweet treats like apricot dumplings and homemade cake. Wash it all down with a beer or spritzwein, and a coffee or tea in a local cafe. 5.00Booking the "Authentic Vienna Food Tour" was just the right decision! From the center at St. Stephen's Cathedral, we reached the lovingly selected locations with the culinary specialties typical of Vienna by bus and train. Whether sweet or savoury, from the Sachertorte to the Wiener Würstel, everything was served in the best quality, accompanied by expert guides Wolfgang (Wolfy) and Patrick. You can see that the goal here is to offer the customer "value for money". We recommend this tour without restriction to anyone who wants to get to know Vienna from its tastiest side! 5.00We’ve done food tours all over the world and this food tour was EXCEPTIONAL! Kristoff was an amazing guide, taking us to places all over the city that are off the beaten path - and most of all- delicious! My 11 year old son enjoyed the tour just as much as I did. We tried Viennese specialties, local dishes, treats and drinks- all while Kristoff gave us information about the city, country, food and culture. I can’t recommend this tour enough - it was so much fun. You’ll leave very full and won’t need a dinner reservation.

5.00We booked this "Vienna Food, Coffee and Market Tour" via Intrepid Urban Adventures. Arriving at the starting Point, we were surprised that approximately 50 people were there. Then Wolfy ("the boss") and a couple of guides showed up and we were allocated to a fairly small group with Maria Probst as guide. What should I say? Although she said that she was not very experienced, her tour was extraordinary. Maria is an excellent guide: knowledgeable, passionate, and she took us to places we would never have discovered on our own while sharing wonderful insights into Viennese cuisine, customs, and traditions. The food and drink stops were excellent and tailored to day and time. I thought we would wander around the "Naschmarkt" all the time, but instead, we didn't go there at all. Every location was a positive surprise with the fantastic entertainer at “16er Würstelstand” being the highlight. Besides to the many personal recommendations, we received an e-mail with further inspiration at the end of the tour. We can highly recommend Wolfy’s Adventures as this is definitely a must-do in Vienna!

5.00We were lucky enough to have booked a small group tour but as the other couple didn’t show up, we had a private tour with Wolfy. We have done many food tours previously but loved how much ground we covered by utilizing Vienna’s great public transport system. It has made us way more confident to explore the broader city and districts. The tour itself was great. We were able to try so many different foods, with some good walking breaks in between. Honestly one of the best tours we’ve ever done and would recommend to anyone. Thanks again for a great day and experience.

She's truly passionate about the local food culture, and it was nice to get away from the city center and enjoy a local experience in many of the wonderful and diverse districts of Vienna. Our tour exceeded all expectations, and we would highly recommend Maria to anyone visiting Vienna.

5.00Patrick guided us on the day we did the tour and he was wonderful. Really personable and chilled and happy to answer all our questions. There was so much food, it was great value for money. The food was absolutely stunning and I would never have known where to get the quality. We were taken to lots of lovely small family run businesses that you won't find on the travel websites and don't involve queueing for 45 mins! It was a really great day and one of the highlights of our visit to Vienna.

5.00Our tour guide, Maria was absolutely wonderful! We had a group of ten that love food and she guided us to multiple places that were away from the tourist areas of Vienna. She gave us lots of great info about traditional foods of Austria along with a bit of history. Highly recommend the tour and especially Maria if she is available!

We always enjoy learning about a new city especially through a food tour, but this experience took things to the next level. Using public transportation as a very small group, it allowed us to explore the “real” Vienna. Absolutely the best for a real true, local experience. MARIA our guide was so genuine, fun and incredibly knowledgeable, and definitely one of the highlights, she made this tour for us and because of her, the tour exceeded all imaginable expectations. Our group is very well-traveled, and we can confidently say this was unanimously the best tour we’ve ever taken. The attention to detail, deep knowledge of the city, strong connections with locals, carefully chosen stops, and outstanding food made this the absolute best day spent in Vienna.

We were also provided with other recommendations for our stay in Vienna. Don’t eat before you join the morning tour as food is plentiful. Highly recommended.
