With a dash of adventure in an incredible natural setting, we will unveil a secret unknown for many: the unique volcanic Pico wines, and the people who make it all possible. Intertwined with the local communities we curate encounters and tastings you wouldn’t otherwise be able to live, EXCLUSIVELY with independent wine producers.
This heroic wine comes from vines that grow from lava soil and flourish on the rock. All the work is done manually and none of this has changed in 500 years, when the first settlers introduced grape growing in Pico.
After our walk in the landscape of Pico Wine, to refresh our feet, we drive you to one of our favorite natural swimming pools, in an amazing setting or just lay down for a bit, exchanging more local stories and preparing your appetite for the next stop.
Finally, we take to a wine tasting in a beautiful setting with an emergent and promising awarded independent local producer.
You will experience all the landscape and history in your mouth!

5.00We had a very wonderful food tour based on the cultures and neighborhoods of Lisbon with Miguel from Oh My Cod tours. The pace was perfect and the food and wine tastings were diverse and delicious, made even better as we understood the history and influences of each cuisine. Miguel was a great guide - Warm and thoughtful - he made sure our dietary needs were incorporated into each stop. It was not just fun, but a great way to become familiar with local customs and people. And we had a lovely group that bonded easily, partly thanks to Miguel's welcoming and inclusive personality.

5.00We loved everything about our getaway. We were a less traditional group for a wine tasting activity (3 adults, 1 child and 1 baby) and sylvia was so accommodating throughout.Her knowledge and passion are great, the restaurant where we ate was delicious and what about tasting at the producer. We didn’t feel that children were a problem at all, we were able to appreciate in a guided and professional way some of what pico has to offer. I recommend without hesitation, you will definitely have an unforgettable time!!

5.00Sylvia is the ultimate guide - organized, informed and fun! Four of us spent a joyful day in Pico swimming in the ocean, exploring vineyards, and tasting delicious local foods selected by Sylvia. The highlight was a private tasting on the first day of the harvest at an independent winery. The owner brought us some grapes to taste and we learned a lot while gazing put at the vineyards and the sea. Sylvia has developed strong relationships with the food and wine community in Pico and we benefitted from her network. We felt like VIPs for the day and had a fabulous time in Sylvia’s capable hands. Highlight of our trip! Now we want to go to the mainland with her!

5.00The wine tour with Sylvia was one of the best experiences during our stay on Pico. Her passion for the island, the wine and the history of winegrowing was palpable at every moment. She guided us through the world of wine on Pico with a great deal of expertise, enthusiasm and an incredibly friendly manner. Every stop was exciting, informative and simply wonderful. You immediately realize how deeply rooted she is in the region and how much she loves to share her enthusiasm. We not only learned a lot about the wines of Pico, but also spent a wonderful day. Thank you so much, dear Sylvia, this tour was more than just a wine tasting for us. It was a real highlight full of enjoyment, knowledge and humanity. Absolutely recommendable!

5.00Silvia put a wonderful day together for us that included learning about Pico Island's history and its unique character. She also managed to keep it interesting and fun enough for our 9 and 11 year olds. The winery we went to was had some really great wines and the lunch spot she picked was so good we went back the next night! Overall, a really great experience that I would highly recommend. It was so good we intend on using her company for our upcoming visit to Lisbon.

5.00My partner and I had such a lovely time on this tour! It was honestly one of the best ones we've been on. Our guide Silvia was very knowledgeable during the tour and a joy to spend time with. The food and wine were amazing, and we appreciated their attention to detail when it came to food allergies/preferences. To top it off, she even took the time to send recommendations after the tour had ended. We wish we had done this tour on our first day here! I highly recommend this tour to everyone. If we end back up in Portugal I will 100% sign up for another Oh! My Cod Tour.
