Spending the afternoon making tacos and enjoying margaritas with my friends was absolutely unforgettable. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel at home from the very first moment. We laughed, shared stories, and learned so much about Mexican culture in such a heartfelt way. Every detail, from the cooking to the drinks, was filled with care and joy. It wasn’t just a fun afternoon, it was a truly magical experience of connection, friendship, and celebration 🌮🍹💖.

This was both tremendous fun and interesting. We were picked up promptly in central Cabo San Lucas and driven to a ranch about 30 miles from the city. There we learned about native plants and customs, before chopping and cooking and sitting down for the kind of meal that you can't get in a restaurant. All topped off with a beautiful sunset on the local beach. Thoroughly worth it.

Wonderful to experience local life and culinary delight. My partner, sister, and I were picked up at our resort, driven out to a ranch, introduced to the family who works the farm, and taught about the plants and animals being raised there. After the tour we procured our dinner right from the earth and were shown how to prepare it. Wow, Nopal (cactus) tacos from scratch and a lemongrass tea too. The family was very welcoming and we were all joking around by the end of the day. Our guide had a lot of knowledge of the area and the people who live there (currently as well as pre colonial) and shared in detail. Highly recommended!

An experience rich in culture and history. I had a wonderful time at the rancho, located away from the tourist areas of Baja. Danny is an exceptional guide, and the rancho family made the experience even more fun and memorable.

Danny and Jordan are very knowledgeable and provide an excellent insight to Mexican history. In addition they provide information on traditional agriculture and farming techniques. Thorough nutritional advice also comes with the food preparation and eating experience. We made corn tortillas from scratch, salsa-spicy & mild, nopales tacos and frijoles. Romenna-9 yrs old & a wonderful child- will help & grade your nopales harvest and preparation. There is home prepared goat cheese also. At the end you will be treated to an amazing Pacific Ocean sunset. Danny & Jordan are very personable and professional. They have created an excellent experience that is out of the ordinary for tourists to Cabo. It is our 2nd time doing this with different friends and I strongly encourage anyone to participate in this adventure.

The experience wasn’t what we expected but it was much better. One of the best experiences I’ve had in Mexico. The family with small children were delightful. Food was delicious. Danny and Jordan guides were so knowledgeable and lovely men. Please give it a try. You won’t be sorry.

This is a cultural experience as much as an eating experience. We learned about historical Baja and about a true farm to table lifestyle. Danny and Jordan were stellar in their presentation. It wasn’t what we had expected, but was worth every peso!

It was a very special experience. I left my daily routine behind, visited a local home, and enjoyed cooking together while immersing myself in their rich lifestyle. There were three adorable children, and I learned a lot about plants and nature from them. They grow everything they eat, and I even learned how to cut cacti and make salsa. It was all new to me. Although I went alone, I thoroughly enjoyed my time with them. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone, whether family, friends, or couples. Danny’s tour was truly amazing, and I’m deeply grateful. Thank you!
