What To Expect

7:30 AM — Departure from Beirut Your private guide and driver collect you from your Beirut hotel and head east on the Damascus highway — climbing through the Lebanese mountains as the Bekaa Valley opens dramatically below, stretching between two mountain ranges toward the horizon.
Before the temples, stop at the ancient Roman quarry where the Stone of the Pregnant Woman still lies exactly where it was cut 2,000 years ago — a single limestone block 21 metres long and weighing an estimated 1,000 tonnes, never moved, never finished. Standing beside it reframes everything you are about to see at the temples. If this is what was left behind in the quarry, what did they actually use?

5.00I had a fantastic time at baalbek, , Jeita grotto and Byblos tour with lebanon tours and travels.My tour driver Fadi was also very helpful and informative and he also gave me important information about Beirut city history, best places for shopping and food. Also baalbek and Byblos guides were very informative. I am thankful to lebanon tours and travels to provide me this best tour in 1 day.
