  wow wow wow, I dont even know where to begin on just how fulfilling, beautiful and healing this experience was for my boyfriend and i. we decided to take an adventure into nature for our birthdays & this did not disappoint. it was the perfect balance of challenging, fun and grounding. this national park has such a strong mystical, healing and powerful energy that you feel immediately. everyone from the tour guide (Dung) to the people helping cook & bike us around (Mr. Hi) to the man who runs this company (Anh) were truly such adorable, passionate and kind humans that made me feel so safe, welcome & taken care of. the waterfalls, the summit, the crisp air, the sounds of birds, the challenging hikes all made this an incredibly immersive experience! we were given the perfect amount of snacks, a filling lunch, and a bountiful delicious dinner- i was worried beforehand but it proved to be for no reason, as they fed me as well as my grandma would have haha. if you are contemplating going on this experience, i 100% suggest taking the chance- you will not regret it :) make sure to bring an extra set of clothes, wet wipes, a plastic bag, socks and a warm sweater, and a warning for my girlies: the bathroom situation in the park isn’t the most fun so pack extra napkins & hand sanitizer #camplife!! otherwise they provide everything else you would need, including water, pillows, a helmet, and ponchos. it was truly a bang for our buck & an experience that we could never forget <3

  

  

  

• A wild, fun experience in contact with nature

  This is an experience for adventurous people who know how to adapt. For us it worked like this: a van picked us up from our hotel in Hue and took us to the entrance of Bach Ma Park. There we met our guides and the rest of the group (in total we were 5 participants). From there we went in the van for about half an hour, reaching the point where the road was closed due to a landslide. The road collapsed in late October 2025 due to a typhoon. We passed the landslide on foot in a somewhat complicated route but supported by ropes (about 10 minutes). Beyond the landslide there were drivers waiting for us on some bikes. Each participant got on a motorcycle with his driver. We continued on the road for another 10 km or so to approach the highest point of the park. After getting off the bikes we made a short trek to reach the top. Along the way the guide told us a lot about plants and animals. We were lucky enough to see a family of monkeys with 5 colors. We got back on our bikes to approach the starting point of the second trek, the 5 lakes tour. We made the trek (about 7 km). The first part is quite dangerous and you have to be very careful. At one point we took off our shoes to ford the river. At the end of the trek we reached the camping area by motorbike. From there we had a couple of hours off before dinner. We had dinner with the two guides and relaxed in front of the fire. We went to sleep and the next morning we got up at 5:00 to go watch the sunrise. Back at the camping area we had breakfast and prepared to return to the starting point (motorcycle + walking piece + van). The park is a wonderful place and very little frequented. You are in a beautiful place, quiet and surrounded by nature. Dinner was a very pleasant time for us: it was just the two of us + our two guides throughout the park. They cooked us meat, fish and vegetables with local sauces, all delicious. In our opinion, good hiking shoes are essential: with classic sneakers you slip on the rocks risking getting very hurt and getting your feet wet. The rest of the equipment is not essential as they provide everything you need (15 liter dry bag, lunch, hiking stick, tent, blankets, etc.). Negative note: the camping area was quite abandoned and messy (we were the first people to sleep in the park after the October typhoon). The experience for us was beautiful, wild, fun. If we went back we would definitely do it again!

  It was beautiful even cold water, there's a Lady Buddha hidden in the forest. Unfortunately, the guide didn't take us there despite it was very close to our path, it has two path to the same destination, the left was just a path and the right lead to Lady Buddha.   If you are interested in the lushest jungles, with exotic animals all around you, this is the place to go. The day tour at the Five lakes and the Rhododendron falls is a beautiful experience with the track being just challenging enough to be a very memorable hike. However, the greatest advantage of this tour is the unique opportunity to spend the night in the jungle as well, in a tent. This means, that you have plenty more hours to explore the jungle and to visit sites of interest where monkeys may pass, birds drink, or never before seen flowers bloom. The guides were amazing. They are very experienced, knowledgeable and helpful, and they speak english very well. The tour in general is very well prepared, they have provided us with waterproof backpacks and helmets, and raincoats. When I was there, the weather turned rainy and unusually cold (13°C). Even in these extreme circumstances, the tour is still a great experience. The campsite provides lots of very useful amenities, like limited electricity, running water, WC, and if needed a big tent which makes open fire cooking possible in extremely wet weather. Both the dinner and the breakfast were amazing. The tents are set up on elevated platforms and can be covered with PVC sheets, so they do not get wet inside at all. I can wholeheartedly recommend this tour for everyone who seeks adventure, but I have some advice for future participants. First of all, it is important to check the weather report, and dress accordingly. This means appropriate footwear as well. You will have to cross and walk alongside streams on slippery, always wet rock surfaces, and step over roots and vines, ready to trip you. Even if the weather is hot, a shoe that has a good grip and ankle support can save your trip from being cut short. In summary this experience will be a highlight of your stay in Vietnam, thanks to the amazing scenery and the kind helpful and experienced guides.

  This was an absolutely fantastic camping trip. The guides were local, knowledgeable and incredibly friendly with excellent English. The trip was planned very well and matched the itinerary perfectly. The campsite was much nicer than expected, the food at night was a real highlight and the extra personal touches were clear throughout. Could possibly provide a thicker floor in the tent and extra pillow but no complaints from us! 100% would recommend this trip to anybody going to the area.   It was an excellent experience hiking and camping at Bach Ma. Thanks Connect Travel for organizing this trip. Campsite experience was good, clean and delicious food. Hiked up to the summit 3 times for lunch, sunset and night hike. The hike to the 5 lakes was memorial, nice view and beautiful waterfalls. Highly recommend Connect Travel.

  Just wanted to share that Connect Travels made our trip fantastic and everything worked out seamlessly! The hotels and the tours you recommended were excellent! Hotel locations in particular were ideal. Not forgetting the adventurous hiking & camping trip in Bach Na National Park! This trip was incredible, from day one our tour guide was amazing.   Impressive experiences. Well organised and detailed planning of food and equipments. Wonderful camp fire dinner. The guide very helpful and keep us safe through out the journey. Flexible guide and turn into good cook during meals. The five lakes adventure is the highlight of the hike. The 700 steps waterfall is recommended for the fit ones to take this challenge will never regret getting there to view the waterfall from the bottom. The night hike is also another highlight to explore the night nature and the sky.
