You will feel the charming bahian night. The tour guide picks you up and takes you to pelourinho for a dinner in a wonderful restaurant and after that you´ll do a little walk in the old district. Pelourinho’s nightlife is hard to resist. The area is teeming with bars, outdoor cafes and restaurants to whet your palate. After dark, the city pulsates with excitement. The colors and music explode like fireworks – welcome to the main stage for what’s new on the Bahian music scene. Nightly, local musicians and international artists alike heat up the squares with their rhythms that draw you into the magic of Pelô( how the local people call this area)

5.00This was a fantastic tour and evening. The Balé Folclórico Da Bahia show was spectacular. The dinner was plentiful and appetizing, and the evening stroll through Pelourinho was insightful and informative. Throughout, our guide, Josuel, provided us with insights into the culture and history of Pelourinho. Moreover, he was friendly and accommodating, ensuring that the group had a wonderful experience. If you are in Salvador, I highly recommend this tour. You will not be disappointed with the tour or Josuel.

5.00It had been 25 years since I saw Balé Folclórico da Bahia in the United States. However, seeing the ensemble in Salvador elevated the experience in a visceral way. Josuel provided context before and after the performance and his tour included a delicious dinner that added to the enjoyment and Cultural enrichment. A must do while in Salvador!

5.00My daughter n I booked 4 tours with Josuel during our Salvador vacation. All were great! He is very kind, well knowledgeable n shares interesting insights of the city, history n culture. Folklore show is absolutely stunning, dinner is delicious. Ilha dos Fratas island was a lovely beach day with unique restaurants. City tour by car n walking through Pelourinho very interesting/beautiful. Took a small boat on sea to admire colorful favelas between the modern highrises n relaxed on a beach for a while. Always felt safe n well informed. Thank you Josuel!!

5.00This was not my first trip to Salvador, but it certainly was the most enriching one! Our tour guides were incredibly knowledgeable and fun at the same time! No boring lectures looking at pictures about Bahia, we walked the streets of the upper and lower city for a hands on experience. Even took a drum lesson! We looked out at the Atlantic from the very lookout towers that guarded the coasts where enslaved Africans arrived in droves. It was an emotionally powerful moment… We attended religious services of the various traditions and learned to identify the influence of African religion on the unique form of Catholicism that exists today. I could go on and on. The food, the music, the beaches, the people!! I can't wait to return and I will definitely sign up with Olafemi Tours, an amazing company indeed.
