What To Expect
Paralia Menies
Our first stop will be at Menies, where the soft sand invites you to bask in the sun and indulge in carefree moments playing with the sand. The idyllic beach offers an escape to a Mediterranean paradise, where relaxation and the soothing sound of the waves make you surrender to the beauty of the landscape. Hidden beaches and crystalline waters call out to our soul, tempting us to take a deep and drift away into a dreamy state of mind. It will take 20 mins to arrive there.
Gramvousa Beach
Next, our boat sails towards Gramvousa, the pirate island hiding stories and legends behind its rocks. It's up to you if you decide to hike to the castle or stay at the beach and enjoy the blue waters. The duration of the travel between Menies and Gramvousa is 20 mins.

5.00Great experience! The boat was clean and comfortable, Alex was a very good skipper, he gave us space and took a good care of us. He changed the plan and did what we wanted, what we needed to finally have a wonderfull day. Kostas was very helpful in communication. I recommend this company, we will definitely come back!

5.00We had a lovely time visiting Balos and, on the way, stopping by Gramvousa. The water was crystal clear everywhere, it was mesmerizing. Konstantinos was very nice and provided us with local information. He even made us ceviche from a fish fresh from the water, just wow! We were also offered drinks, watermelon, and sandwiches. Communication with Alex was easy. Highly recommended

5.00I had the best time with Chania Sea Experience. The captain was so kind, friendly, and made us feel really comfortable from the start. Everything was well planned, and we got to see the most beautiful spots with clear blue water. We swam, laughed, and made such special memories together. It was such a perfect day with my family — calm, fun, and full of joy. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Chania. Thank you captain Alexie!!!!

5.00We had an amazing trip! Kostas was so helpful and accommodating with booking our trip, and gave great advice about the weather forecast and picking the best day. The trip was incredible and the locations we went to were very beautiful. We loved the chance to swim and explore. The included lunch and drinks were great. Highly recommend and would love to do this again if we are back in Crete! Thanks so much!

5.00The day trip to Gramvousa and Balos was the highlight of our vacation and a very special experience. The Contact with Vassia for information and booking was super easy. We appreciated the individual offer for only two of us. The skipper Alex was amazing: super nice, professional and still easy-going, fun, caring, kept distance in the right moments. Just perfect. His music was great, later we connected our own. We had Cretan lunch on board and loved his own olive oil and salt. Best we had during 2 Weeks of Crete. His motto was “it’s your day” and it felt just like it. Thanks a lot. 100% recommendation.

5.00Would highly recommend this trip. We had the most wonderful time. Alex was the sweetest and the kids adored him. It was my husbands birthday and they arranged to have a beautiful cake on the boat. Alex knew so much about the area and even jumped in to swim with the kids. We were even lucky enough to see a pod of dolphins on our way back to the port. It was amazing and we definitely hope to be back again one day.

5.00Our boat trip with Chania Sea Experience was amazing! A group of friends and I booked it only one day before and Kostas was incredibly helpful and accommodating. On the day, our skipper Alex took us to the most amazing beaches in Crete and he was so nice and friendly. The boat is super comfortable, there were so many drinks available and the lunch they prepared for us was delicious! Overall it was such a great experience and definitely everyone's favourite part of the trip. It's great to have a private boat and Alex helped us avoid all the big crowds at Balos. And it's very affordable compared to other options. Would 100% recommend!
