It's the best way to see Acadia National Park. The guide was informative explaining history of the development of Acadia. Stopped at main sites. The tour ended with a delicious lunch.

Sean was our guide and he was knowledgeable about the history and culture of Bar Harbor. Great conversation and right amount of detail. Courteous and accommodating! Ended with a stop for a lobster roll! If you book this request Sean!

Our tour got off to a bit of a rocky start because it’s hard for the tour companies to pick guests up at the tender port, and then one guest had mistakenly split her party up into 2 vans and provided nonsensical addresses, so we spent some time trying to link up with her (they decided to reschedule in the end), but it worked out because several of us wanted to get our national park passports stamped and one of the attempted rendezvous points was the visitor’s center. Throughout the day, I really appreciated how accommodating our guide Allston was. We stopped for photos and lingered at a couple of places longer than I think is normal, partly hoping the fog would burn off, and because when you see a bald eagle, you want to spend a little more time trying to take a pic. I will say that the tour description was a little vague, but when I emailed to make sure that we would have a reservation for Cadillac Mountain (even though it wasn’t necessarily stated), they assured me that it would be part of the tour. I was a little sad once we were there that we didn’t have more time at Jordan Pond (and I know the ladies who wanted popovers were bummed) and more time to walk around on Cadillac Mountain, but we were the only ones in our group who were on a timeline and needed to get back. When I noticed the time going by and mentioned it, Allston was reassuring and even offered to take us back to town after we picked up our lunch to-go while the rest of the group dined in. We did get back to town about 30 minutes later than expected, but he dropped us off right where we needed to go, and I will say that was the best lobster roll that I had on my entire Atlantic Canada/Northeast trip. I would’ve happily done a longer tour (and not booked something else right after) had they offered it.
