On board a spacious schooner, sail to two different snorkeling spots, where you’ll see a shipwreck and swim in the clear Caribbean with sea turtles and colorful fish. A light breakfast snack and unlimited beverages are provided. Choose between two options — a 3-hour cruise that’s great for families with small children, or a 5-hour cruise that includes lunch.

What To Expect
El Tigre Catamaran Sailing Cruises
After hotel pickup, head to the marina in Bridgetown to board your catamaran, El Tigre, a 60-foot-long (18-meter) and 24-foot-wide (7-meter) schooner that’s big enough to carry 50 passengers but is limited to 36 per cruise to provide more space. The boat offers both shady and uncovered areas so you can choose to sit wherever you’ll be more comfortable. Pull out of the marina and head along the west coast of Barbados, enjoying the sea breeze on your face and admiring the picturesque coastline. While you sail, just relax, sipping a cup of coffee or a glass of juice, rum punch or beer, and enjoy a slice of coconut bread.

Make your way to your first snorkeling spot, where you should be able to see sea turtles. Spend 45 minutes snorkeling, and then hop back on board the boat to sail to your second snorkeling location, a shipwreck that has become a habitat for many tropical fish. You have another 45 minutes to snorkel here. If you choose the 3-hour option, you’ll then be dropped off at a west coast beach, where your cruise ends. Your transportation will be waiting for you at this beach to return to your hotel. If you select the 5-hour option, continue along the west coast to a third location, where you’ll stop to enjoy lunch onboard the boat. Then hop in the water to cool off, swimming up to the nearby beach, if you wish, for a stroll along the sand. Back on board, enjoy a cocktail and listen to soca — a style of Caribbean calypso music — while the boat returns you to the marina in Bridgetown, where your cruise ends. Unlimited drinks (soda, beer and rum punch) are provided on both cruise options.

4.00A really great trip with the snorkelling, we did see turtles and stingrays which was fabulous. My only bits of feedback would be to perhaps not have food on the boat itself... People inevitably create mess with food on the floor, it's distracting as was the motion of the waves. It would be good to get kitted out on shore where things would be a bit more stable. Also if you are approached by a jetski and they offer to take you, beware this comes at a cost. I was convinced to get on, then it was only as we were jetting off that it was said it'd be $50.... I enjoyed the experience but was extortionate in my opinion and should have been told from the get go. For the price I did expect more canapes. The crew were helpful and considerate.

5.00It was a guided snorkel tour which we loved and the entire crew was super informative about all the wrecks and reefs we were on. Lunch was very good, only complaint was there was no clear communication before hand of what was and wasn’t “allowed” on board. Several female guest including myself were told that we were not allowed to put sunscreen lotion (not spray) on while under the cover of the deck which made me feel a bit awkward having to stand around surrounded by the crew just to reapply my lotion every time.
Staff was friendly and assisted us who can't swim to go out in the water fully attended to experience this amazing gift

5.00This trip was 1 of our highlights. Being a group of 16 people(family) we were picked up from nearby our villa and taken to bridgetown where our catamaran left from.The crew from the ship were very informative and always had safety first. When on board the guys were chatting to all the guests giving us information about the island.The kids went snorkeling around the shipwreck with a guide and looked for turtles on way. They absolutely loved it.We had a lovely lunch served and lots of drinks on offer. Then they had a second swim turtle hunting before we headed back The crew were very attentive to both the guests and the boat. Highly recommend this tour it was excellent from start to finish.Winston made a great impression with the kids and the family. Well done guys and thank you

5.00The tour was a wonderful experience from pick-up from our hotel until drop-off. The day was perfectly planned by the company and the crew. The crew were very friendly and welcoming throughout the journey. They provided excellent instruction and guidance during the dives to make sure that we could see the turtles, fish and all the amazing sights underwater. The lunch and drinks were delicious and added to the overall experience. We had a great time and would definitely recommend to anyone in Barbados. This is a great way to spend the day and great value for money.
