El Tigre Catamaran Sailing Cruises
After hotel pickup, head to the marina in Bridgetown to board your catamaran, El Tigre, a 60-foot-long (18-meter) and 24-foot-wide (7-meter) schooner that’s big enough to carry 50 passengers but is limited to 36 per cruise to provide more space. The boat offers both shady and uncovered areas so you can choose to sit wherever you’ll be more comfortable. Pull out of the marina and head along the west coast of Barbados, enjoying the sea breeze on your face and admiring the picturesque coastline. While you sail, just relax, sipping a cup of coffee or a glass of juice, rum punch or beer, and enjoy a slice of coconut bread.
Barbados
Make your way to your first snorkeling spot, where you should be able to see sea turtles. Spend 45 minutes snorkeling, and then hop back on board the boat to sail to your second snorkeling location, a shipwreck that has become a habitat for many tropical fish. You have another 45 minutes to snorkel here. If you choose the 3-hour option, you’ll then be dropped off at a west coast beach, where your cruise ends. Your transportation will be waiting for you at this beach to return to your hotel. If you select the 5-hour option, continue along the west coast to a third location, where you’ll stop to enjoy lunch onboard the boat. Then hop in the water to cool off, swimming up to the nearby beach, if you wish, for a stroll along the sand. Back on board, enjoy a cocktail and listen to soca — a style of Caribbean calypso music — while the boat returns you to the marina in Bridgetown, where your cruise ends. Unlimited drinks (soda, beer and rum punch) are provided on both cruise options.

Took this catamaran snorkeling trip as a cruise excursion for one day in port for me and my 75 y/o mother. Was a fantastic experience and the crew was so patient, kind and attentive. They really watched out for everyone and were a lot of fun. Great tasty lunch too! Would definitely recommend.

This was an exceptional experience! In all aspects! The crew were personable and knowledgeable of the culture. A crew member was in the water showing us where to find turtles.

Let's skip to the end.. BEST CATAMARAN SNORKEL SAIL IN THE ENTIRE CARIBBEAN!! Hands down. And we've done A LOT of them. Nothing else has ever come remotely close. We sailed with Captain Larry and Wayne (and their crew). They were beyond the most genuine hosts we've ever met. They were kind, funny, connected with everyone on the tour and made it their mission to ensure each guest had the best time. They catered to our every need and then some. We had a bit of a mishap with pickup at the cruise terminal, which was our fault entirely. We connected with Abigail who works in the office and she walked to meet us on the road between the cruise pier and catamaran dock to escort us over and ensure we embarked on the tour. Special thanks to her! We could not have gotten there without her, and other tour operators would have left us behind. When we arrived (a little late), the crew was kind and patient and eased our fried nerves. The drinks (wide variety of alcoholic and non) were served all day. The coconut punch was the best! The lunch that was served was DELICIOUS consisting of salads, fresh fish, jerk chicken, rice, macaroni, and they also served homemade (baked) sweet breads before and after lunch. The ship was immaculate and food was served with lots of love and attention to hygiene and safety. We had excellent weather, so the snorkeling and sailing conditions were wonderful for us. We snorkeled at two sites, both had excellent views and the crew guided us to the best spots. We also had time to swim after lunch. Best snorkeling we've seen in a long time, if not ever. The bus drop off to the cruise ship was also perfect. If you are thinking about a catamaran sail in Barbados, think no more and book this today!

We had an amazing experience. Crew was top notch and it was the best five hours we had on the island so far. Lunch was better than most of the meals we have had from restaurants. Would definitely go again.

To start with, they were great at communicating on pickup time, food, etc. Service was great! Bathroom (head) on the boat was big, clean and easy to use. The snorkeling experience was great and they actually sailed for most of the time, instead of using the motor. They had a special vegetarian option for me for lunch with rice and beans, pasta, salads to add. Drinks were great too. I have been on several snorkeling tours in the Caribbean and this was one of the best!

An excellent day out which could only really be improved by less time consuming processing upon arrival at the quayside. A bit of duplication having to convert a Viator token to a ticket- seemed unnecessary. The crew were outstanding and couldn’t do enough to ensure the comfort and safety of all passengers. It was not an easy task to safely herd numerous passengers of varying age and ability into and out of the water. The lunch was plentiful and delicious and the drinks also offered frequently. The actual spots for snorkelling weren’t all that far from the shore and had I known that, I possibly would have selected one of the quicker, cheaper , more local snorkelling trips direct from Carlisle Bay.

Just got back from an incredible catamaran trip, and I can't recommend it enough! 🐢 We started the day sailing along the beautiful coastline, soaking up the sun and enjoying the views. The highlight was definitely snorkeling with sea turtles—what an amazing experience to swim alongside these gentle creatures! The water was crystal clear, making it easy to see the vibrant marine life. After snorkeling, we enjoyed a delicious lunch on board. The crew served fresh salads, fish, rice, pasta and refreshing drinks, all while we relaxed. The next stop was a fascinating exploration of a sunken ship. The crew provided fascinating insights into the ship's history, and it was surreal to see the wreck up close. Overall, it was a perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and learning. If you're looking for a memorable day on the water, this catamaran trip by Viator is a must! 🌊✨
