Cherry Tree Hill
Cherry Tree Hill is eight hundred and fifty (850) ft above sea level and is a part of St. Nicholas Abbey plantation. Actually due to the size of the St. Nicholas Abbey property, Cherry Tree Hill actually borders, St.Peter and St. Andrew. Many years ago, the drive on either side to get to it was flanked by cherry trees, thus the reason for its name; however these were replaced with mahogany trees which now line the road. The trees were planted in celebration of the signing of The Treaty of Paris in 1763

I don't recommend this tour. Almost everything was poorly planned. The transportation was so chaotic. Return driver drove me wrong direction twice. The time in the wild reserve was ok. The monkey feeding was fun but so so crowded. The Snorkling beach was extremely crowded not only on the beach but also in the water. You're basically snorkling in sea of people. Hitting you. Not enjoyable at all. We couldn't see anything in the water. There was one turtle at the bottom. Afraid to come out up in the water because of the crowd. About 50 people swimming in the same 3 sqm space to see the one turtle. Some of the things on the list we didn't do and the driver said to complain later

Our driver Gline was wonderful. I really enjoyed his historical facts and all the information he gave us about Barbados. It made the trip so much more entertaining and educational. He was wonderful the entire day! The lunch stop was beautiful. Everything ran smoothly.

The swim with the turtles was very disappointing but the island tour and monkey feeding were great. Lots of monkeys.

Very short stops at the points of interest that are mentioned, only five minutes on one and 15 on another. Only on the boat for the turtles for one hour, but friendly informative driver.

We had Lisa (Auntie Lisa), we had a small group of 9 and Lisa was very knowledgeable on the island. We never felt rushed and she showed us a great time. The monkeys were everywhere and the water was amazingly clear. We were able to visit the shipwrecks and see turtles. 10/10 experience.

Great day out! Our guide, Kwame, was friendly and knowledgeable. He is obviously very passionate about his homeland and shared lots of his knowledge with us. The stop at the monkey feeding was amazing! We got really close to them. There were also lots of other animals to see there. When we got to the snorkeling part of the trip, we were lucky to see 2 turtles surfacing, along with countless tropical fish at the shipwreck. All in all a great day out.

We did the wildlife, swim and snorkel experience through Beautiful Barbados Tours. Our bus tour guide was Glyne and he was absolutely amazing. He had so much knowledge, pride and excitement for the Barbados culture. We got to learn so much all while enjoying the beautiful island of Barbados. We would most certainly do this excursion again. Thank you so much Glyne!
