5.00Kevin is a very knowledgeable and personable guide. Kevin is professional and chose a wonderful itinerary that suited our interests. Kevin is an excellent driver and obviously know his way around Barbados. We covered a lot of territory in the 5 hours yet the pace was relaxing.

3.00Barbados is a beautiful island country that everyone should find time to visit. They have beautiful scenic beaches, great hilltop vistas, British-era architecture, old Caribbean style villages. We had expected a professional tour guide - instead, we got a taxi driver who didn't give too much information unless we prompted him and even then, didn't have too much historical or cultural information to share. He reported to the hotel at 9 am when all the information we had indicated 10 AM pickup. When we began, he asked where we wanted to go! What? He had no idea about the itinerary so it was good thing I had a copy and I gave it to him and he kept referring to it. In fairness, our driver was kind enough to take our pictures whenever we handed him our phone. We were supposed to pass by Garrison Savannah and have 10 minutes in Bridgetown but we never stopped. There were a total of 10 stops in the itinerary but after the 7th, Bathsheba Beach, he announced that the tour was over. This was supposedly after he had called the operator - Ward's Tours. When I told him there were three more stops, he told us that we were only supposed to pick and choose and it was never intended to do them all. What??!! He said we only had four hours for the tour and we would be 15 minutes over by the time we got back. What?! The tour documentation indicated 4-5 hours, no hard stop at 4 hours. We were so disappointed to have missed the last three stops.

3.00I was hesitant to write a review about this tour, but I would be remiss if I did not share my experience. From the minute our tour guide arrived, it seemed he was annoyed with my group (which included two young kids, that I mentioned in my notes and paid full price for). We were told the "rules" of the tour, which included no eating or drinking in the car. That's fine. But that was the extent of the information provided. There was little to no actual "guidance" and more so just a ride to the various places were were interested in seeing (I mentioned one place specifically and asked for a "best of" because I am not familiar with the island). I could have just paid less for a taxi. We visited the Animal Flower Cave and were not told that it would NOT be a good idea to hike down into the cave with our children, wearing flip flops. Our guide answered questions, but provided no information unless prompted. No conversation, tips or anything on the long drive. A very strange experience from a tour guide.

5.00We toured Barbados with Kevin. He picked us up from our hotel on time in a lovely cool air conditioned vehicle. He customised an itinerary to our preferences and showed us loads of really beautiful locations throughout the day, including a stop for some local pastries which were delicious. I'd highly recommend Kevin. He was so knowledgeable and funny too. Look no further for an island tour!

5.00We used Ward's Tours for an island tour with several stops. Kevin was great, on time, and we enjoyed our time with him. The van was very spacious and almost new. He was very informative. He also picked us up at the cruise terminal and we used him to get from our hotel to the airport. We highly recommend Ward's Tours.
