Shari was our guide and she was absolutely amazing! She kept us entertained, sharing nuggets of history of Barbados mixed in with some personal stories. It felt like we were walking around and hanging with a friend. The food stops were excellent, we had way too much to eat and ended up bringing some of it back with us!

Part of travel is learning about the history and culture of the country, and tasting their food. Jolene was a knowledgeable guide who gave us a lot of history along with a lot of food. It was a small group of 6, which made walking through busy markets and streets easier. My only suggestion is Jolene spoke very fast and often did not wait until we were all near her to hear the info she shared.

Loved this food tour! Paulette was such a joy — warm, funny, and full of great stories. The tour mixed delicious food, history, and culture perfectly. Come hungry and bring a small bag for leftovers, hand sanitizer, and a fan (it gets warm!). There were water and juice stops and even a few air-conditioned breaks. One of my favorite Barbados experiences — don’t miss it!

Paulette was our guide, and you can feel her passion for the island! She's super knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the history of Barbados. The food was delicious and we were so happy to have leftovers. Throughout our stop, Paulette made sure we were all okay, provided us with water and informed us of bathroom stops along the way.

It was our first time visiting the island and the views were truly breathtaking. Two of my children gifted me with this vacation for my 80th birthday. The 02 Beach Club & Spa was excellent but this review is for our "Lickrish Food Tour" guide, Searnia who took us to 4 different food/tasting locations. She was entertaining, funny, brilliant and a wealth of knowledge about her island. If you're in Barbados, book a tour with her. You won't regret it!

Our guide (Paulette) made our tour a wonderfully pleasant experience. Her sharing her knowledge about the Island’s history was awesome, and an unexpected bonus to the tour. Additionally, she was very accommodating, flexible and careful to attend to all of our needs; giving us cold bottles of water, cutting through some stores for a bit of relief from the humidity, and even bringing her favorite hot sauce for us to taste on our fish fritters.. In a word, she was Outstanding!

Excellent. Five food stops including two one course meals at local takeaway restaurants snapping local dishes. Loads of information on history of Bridgetown and the food we ate.

Paulette led us on an incredible tour of Bridgetown. The food was delicious and was made better by her knowledge of the history and origin of the recipes. We sampled a wide variety of tasty treats and had plenty leftover for dinner at the hotel. Paulette kept the tour on track and anticipated the needs of the group along the way. She is the best!

We had a wonderful tour with Paulette of Lickrish Tours. It was a very extensive sampling of different traditional foods. The portions were large so don’t eat before! The variety was wonderful and Paulette gave us a history of the island as well as prominent historical places we passed. I highly recommend this tour with Paulette!
