The monkeys are not captive and therefore have the freedom to come in and out of the reserve. It was wonderful to see all of the animals in their natural habitat. We found it to be quite informative, and we enjoyed learning about the different quirks of the animals.

Really enjoyed the monkeys and other sites. Stephen is an excellent guide and entertaining. Would do this trip again. One word of caution though.....the pick up at our hotel was 8:45 AM which is not clearly indicated when booking as it appeared on Tripadvisor as starting around 10:30 AM. Turns out actual pick up time is indicated in follow up emails once you book the trip. Fortunately we had just finished breakfast and were able to join the group a few minutes late.

Winston was an excellent tour guide showing us some beautiful spots as well as the wildlife reserve. Being there for the monkey feeding was excellent as you got close to the monkeys (you’re not allowed to feed or pet them).

Although the tour was due to start at 10:30. Unknown to us the pick up at our hotel was at 8:00. We didn’t see the email late the day before (as we were travelling) so we were still in bed asleep when the pick up arrived. Condenser missed the tour.

Good viewing. Would have liked more time in conservation area before monkey feeding, however

This was a great way to see the island if you don’t have a rental car and would like a very knowledgeable guide. We started at the Cliffs in the northernmost spot of the island. Our children loved that (there’s a cute little playground there where they could burn off some energy from sitting in the car!) They also loved the monkey feeding and walking around the nature sanctuary. After our last stop on the tour (Cherry Tree Hill scenic lookout) our driver took us on a beautiful drive down the island’s Eastern coast which we would never have seen if it weren’t for this tour, and I’m so glad we got to see this part. I’m only giving four stars because by the time we got to Cherry Tree Hill, we had already been on the tour for 4 hours and our children (ages 4 and 6) were starving as there are no lunch breaks and no time to stop to eat. The time spent dropping off others in our shared bus took an extra hour so the total time was 9 to 2:45. Very long to go without eating for my kids. On the whole I’m so glad we did this and we got to see so many parts of the island we never would have if we hadn’t done this.

When I booked I thought this was a monkey feeding experience for my OH and me. What we got was an employee throwing fruit etc to a group of monkeys. It was difficult to see as other people were standing in front of us. Not very exciting. Also we stopped off on the way back so people could go down a cave and swim in the water down there. There should be a warning that it is extremely slippery. Having broken my femur 7 months ago I was petrified of going down there so didn’t bother.
