Alba
Alba is known for its historic charm, excellent cuisine, and the famous White Truffle Fair, held on weekends in October and November. Explore the medieval towers and the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, the town’s main cathedral. Browse local shops for some of the world’s best hazelnut cream, or enjoy lunch in a small, traditional restaurant serving Piedmont specialties such as fresh egg pasta and veal with tuna sauce.
Barolo
Visit a family-run winery in a panoramic setting surrounded by vineyards. Enter the cellars and learn directly from the winemakers about the production of Barolo, a strictly regulated wine made only from Nebbiolo grapes, with precise rules governing vineyard location, aging, and classification. Discover how each hill and vineyard has its own name and character, influencing structure, aroma, and aging potential. Taste at least six DOC and DOCG red wines, sometimes seven, including Barolo, during a guided tasting focused on quality, terroir, terroir expression, and local tradition.

We had an amazing, day-long experience with Stefano on our tour from Milano to the Piemonte region. We stopped in La Mora for coffee, Alba for lunch, and Montabirali for wine tasting. Stefano is so well versed in Italian history that he easily placed everything we did and saw in context to inform our perspective throughout the trip. I cannot recommend Stefano and his tour company highly enough on your next trip from Milano to Piemonte.

We had a wonderful time with Stefano. The drive, conversations, wine, and personalized tour was priceless. Wine tasting with an amazing view of the Alps at Montaribaldi was just what we needed. He also provided local recommendations for lunch and buying local truffles and olive oil. I cannot recommend this tour enough. Go Napoli!

One which you must take if visiting the Milan area. This tour takes you to the charming town of Alba with cobblestone streets with plenty of shops and restaurants. In the afternoon, you will visit an old beautiful castle and afterwards visit the Barolo winery with samples of their wonderful wine. A long day but worth it!

This semi-private Barolo wine tasting and Alba town tour was an incredible experience and an easy, worthwhile trip from Milan. The small group size made everything feel relaxed and personal, and our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about the region. The Barolo tastings were outstanding, with great insight into the wines, vineyards, and production. Exploring Alba was equally enjoyable, full of history, local charm, and great recommendations. Everything was perfectly organized and paced, making it a seamless and memorable escape from Milan. Highly recommended for anyone visiting northern Italy!. Thank you to our awesome guide Oleg

A really fruitful tour and the wine tasting part is just fantastic! Our guide Stefano is absolutely fun, knowledgeable and super helpful. He introduced a lot about Italy, particularly Milan, in an informative yet entertaining way from a local perspective (can really feel his love for the city). Highly recommended the tour to those who don’t want to just do shallow touristy stuff, but would like to explore Italy in a more in-depth way.

Oleg is an amazing guide, making this Langhe wine tour a most awesome one that gave us insightful information about Langhe wine region, plus additional information about Italy in general along the tour, which we greatly appreciated, and the visit to the castle, Alba town and Montaribaldi winery is memorable!

Well planned, authentic norther Italian wine tour while visiting a beautiful town known by its Michelin star restaurants, ending in wine yard with scenic views and sunset, tasting one of the best Barolo and Barbares wines. The tour took a full day, allowing to fully emerge into the Italian local culture, food and wine. We were a small, very international group moving around with Mercedes van. Totally worth the price!

Oleg’s tour was the most cost efficient and fuss free methods to explore Langhe and the Barolo wine region from Milan. The tour was small and personal - he shared a lot during the ride and we had the opportunity of spending time in the beautiful town Alba, feasting on hyperlocal cuisine, and spending a generous amount of time in a local Barolo vineyard to taste the best of Langhe. It’s a tour I would highly recommend to anyone looking for both wine tasting and sightseeing.
