Fantastic day with Giovanni and Marco. Their own winery is beautiful and a great selection of wines. We then visited a small winery in Babaresco, followed by lunch (with incredible view) in La Morra. The afternoon was then spent with some stopping points, with lots of information and knowledge. Then we visited another family winery in Barolo. A lot of wine, and a lot of very good wine!

This tour is a must do! Giovanni and Marco were amazing hosts. We toured several local vineyards and tasted many delicious wines. Giovanni and Marco were extremely knowledgeable, considerate and hilarious. We learned about local wine varieties, history and the process of vitoculture, and they even facilitated shipping home some wines we purchased from the vineyards we visited.

Marco was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable about the Piemonte region. Marco’s family owns a winery in Asti. We started the tour there where he showed us around the facility and we saw the wine cellar. Then tried several wines from his vineyard. Then headed to a short Barbaresco tasting. Then we had lunch at a nice casual spot in La Morra. We pulled over on the way to the last winery to see a beautiful viewpoint of the region. The last stop was in the Barolo region and we had a wonderful tasting and walked through the vineyards and even got to taste some of the grapes. We were lucky that it was harvest season! We enjoyed leaning more about the wines of the regions and enjoying the scenery. I highly recommend this tour!

We had a fantastic experience with Marco on this tour! We especially appreciated how accommodating he was even with being the start of the busy harvest season. He explained everything very well and taught us a lot about the wines of the region. We went to 3 wineries, including his, and also had the option to stop for lunch. Highly recommend!

We (three wine lovers) had a great day with Giovanni who is a great host. During the 8.5 hours tour, we visited three wineries and tasted fantastic wines. All three winemakers (Mauro, Alessandro and Giovanni himself) were happy to share their immense knowledge of the area and wine. We have done lots of tours like this in other parts of the world and what stood out was the fact that plenty of time was left to the group to taste and interact with the winemakers and among each other during the tasting. No rush - just enjoy! Also, two out of the three wineries were quite small ones (the first one was a little bigger but still none of the huge touristy ones) which makes it a different experience than stopping by the big well-known places. The lunch place was ok, lunch wasnt covered but we didnt expect this anyway. Overall, we had a great day in the Langhe area and highly recommend the tour and Giovanni. Thanks Giovanni

Extremely satisfying tour. Giovanni, our guide, was indeed a genuine small wine grower and gave us the inside story, something we've never heard before in all our years of visiting the world's vineyards. In the course of which we also learned a great deal about the culture and economy of the entire region. The 3 vintners we met, on their premises, were fascinating, witty, and informative, introducing us to their unusual versions of local and globally famous wines. The restaurant Giovanni dropped us off for lunch was the best we've encountered in 4 days in Piedmont. The 3 other guests on the tour -- we were 3 ourselves -- were fun and interesting. Strongly recommended!!
