The UNESCO listed the Great Belize Barrier Reef as one of the most diverse eco-systems in the world made up of over 100 coral species and home to some 500 species of fish and hundreds of invertebrates.
Our snorkeling tour takes you on a 30-40 minutes boat ride to the Southern Barrier Reef which offers several different snorkeling sites within the reserve for beginners and experienced snorkelers.

What To Expect
Our snorkeling tour takes you on a 30-40 minutes boat ride to the Southern Barrier Reef which offers several different snorkeling sites within the reserve for beginners and experienced snorkelers. Our experienced guides takes you on an underwater adventure. Snorkelers often have close encounters with eagle rays, sea turtles, a wide variety of exotic fish, and even dolphins or friendly nurse sharks! Experience a bit of island life on this snorkel adventure as we normally stop at Bread and Butter Caye or South Water Caye for some beach-combing.

5.00Snorkeling was amazing! Theo was very providing and caught an amazing fresh lunch for us! He was sure to point out different fish and tell us what each was while In the water. Once at bread and butter cay a beautiful afternoon of relaxing and great food was provided! Felt very safe while In the water and had a great time!

5.00We went snorkeling with Jeff and Captain Lenox on two different days during our stay in Hopkins. The barrier reef is STUNNING and Jeff was an excellent guide pointing out the different fish and critters. We saw several nurse sharks, including one that tagged along with our group during one of our stops. We saw rays, barracuda and so many tropical fish. Each time out of the boat was something new. And the fresh catch lunches were sublime. Fresh lobster, barracuda, trigger fish and mackerel along with homemade salad, banana bread, sausage and chicken were delicious and provided something for every pallet. Highly recommend snorkeling with the Get To Know Belize crew!!

5.00I brought my sister and 2 year old on this adventure and it was a hit. The guides were so knowledgeable, great with my little one and made the morning so much fun. We got to see plenty of beautiful fish, but the highlight were the nurse sharks! Thanks to Theo and the gang for a great day :)

5.00We went on a full day snorkeling tour! We had such a wonderful time. Our tour guides Jeff and Alden were knowledgeable and fun to go with. We were able to see so much underwater (Alden always helped to point out and identified cool things). Also the lunch on the private island was the best! Would absolutely recommend booking with this company!

5.00My Bestfriend and I took the Sunset Cruise, All Day Snorkel Tour and Cockscomb Jaquar Preserve Hike. They were all fantastic, our tour guides Alden and Jeff were top notch, friendly, knowledgeable treated you with care. The person I worked with to make the arrangements Josie is the best! She was very pleasant and helped any way she could. Recommend giving them a call. We just can't wait till our next trip.

5.00Our experience was absolutely magical!!! Alden & Jeff were so great & accommodating especially because we had a 6 & 9 year old with us! Alden went above & beyond showing & educating us on all the different sea life. We saw starfish, sting rays, coral, sea urchins, all different types of fish! He caught conch shells, a lobster, & a jack fish for lunch! We enjoyed the most yummiest lunch of our stay here in Belize! The island was so relaxing & we definitely enjoyed every bit of our time during our excursion! Thank you guys for the most memorable time!

5.00Medz and Jeff were awesome! They were so friendly and knowledgeable and made the whole day a great experience. We got to see some beautiful fish including nurse sharks and sting rays. Lunch was absolutely delicious, and we really enjoyed spending time at Bread and Butter Caye as well.

5.00Amedz and Jeffery were incredible guides. Very relaxed but took safety ever seriously. They cared about our small little group of 5 total (my friends and I being a group of 3 and another couple). We did 3 different snorkel spots 35-40 at each then went to Bread and Butter Caye for a homemade meal by Amedz and Jeff. It was absolutely incredible all around!
