One of the reasons I wanted to fish Lake Biwa was the legendary bass living in the lake. The lake is surrounded by mountains making a unique background different from what I'm used to. TsunTsun was an amazing guide, taking me to where the big fish were. He went out of his way to pick me up and drop me off at my Airbnb and I had a great day on the water. We caught a few fish but that's the name of the game while fishing for giants! Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to experience Lake Biwa fishing. I will definitely go again when I revisit Japan. Bring sunscreen!
