Our Battambang tour was fantastic. It’s a long day but that’s because of the distance from Siem Reap to Battambang & the amount of things you get to do & see. Our guide, Mr August was very informative & courteous & our driver, Mr Paal always greeted us back from our adventures with a very refreshing cold towel. They supplied us with a container each of pasties to eat along the way & cold water whenever we wanted one. We stopped & watch rice paper being made & sampled dry fruit & vegetables, walked around a market with Mr August explaining the different types of seafood, vegetables & fruit available. Went on the bamboo train, which is quite a unique experience. The food was very tasty where we stopped for lunch, we visited Monasteries, the Killing Cave & finished our day watching an endless stream of backs flying out of the back cave. I couldn’t fault anything about the tour & would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit Battambang. I would also like to thank the company too, this tour was a 10 person group tour but due to being in low season, we were the only 2 people on it. Some companies would’ve cancelled on us but we just got a private tour at no extra charge, very commendable.
