What To Expect

Afternoon Tuk Tuk tour departures at 12:00pm. Start with pick up at 11:50am from your accommodations or restaurants. After that, get to know your guide and share with you about history, culture, religion, agriculture, folk tales and some main tips of Cambodia and Battambang. Then, continuing to see some main beautiful historical buildings, central market, provincial hall and the symbol statute of Battambang (Ta Dambong Kra nhoung).
See beautiful villages, fruit plantations, rice fields, suspension bridge, local people living and stop to talk with farmers. Then, buy your ticket and board on the bamboo train. Get a free butt massage from the movement. Admire scenery along the way. After that, having late lunch at a local restaurant in the village.

5.00We had an amazing afternoon on the tuktuk with our guide Sam. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, and shared the story of his country and his life in Cambodia. The bamboo train has been our favourite experience so far on this trip! Whizzing along seeing the people and the countryside was fantastic. And then seeing the caves and forest (and monkeys) was very interesting. To top the evening off with an Angkor beer watching millions of bats was just amazing! This is a must do if you’re in Battambang … and even if you’re not make a detour to do it!

The tour was excellent, explored the sites of Battambang as well as learning about the country’s history and getting to see a once in a lifetime natural wonder of the bats. 4.00Great trip to some amazing places. The bamboo train was great fun. The killing cave was very sobering and the bats a true wow moment. Our guide was very passionate. My only criticism is that there were 8 people on the tour and the tuk tuk in my opinion comfortably housed 6. In the extreme heat it was a little uncomfortable and squashed.
