The main French structure in the city will be seen on this tour, and the guide will teach history and Cambodian language as well. Ridding on original bambootrain and visitors can watch and taste rat barbecue on the way to Phnom Sampou. Experience with climbing up hill to see killing cave, viewpoints, some temples on the summit. Aside from that, You will be enjoyed millions of bat flying out from cave in the evening.

What To Expect
Battambang Province
Afternoon Tuk Tuk tour departures at 12:00pm. Start with pick up at 11:50am from your accommodations or restaurants. After that, get to know your guide and share with you about history, culture, religion, agriculture, folk tales and some main tips of Cambodia and Battambang. Then, continuing to see some main beautiful historical buildings, central market, provincial hall and the symbol statute of Battambang (Ta Dambong Kra nhoung).
See beautiful villages, fruit plantations, rice fields, suspension bridge, local people living and stop to talk with farmers. Then, buy your ticket and board on the bamboo train. Get a free butt massage from the movement. Admire scenery along the way. After that, having late lunch at a local restaurant in the village.

5.00Samol was very truthful and knowledgeable about the history of Cambodia, he has a lot of energy and you will be covering a lot of Battambang in just a day and experience a lot of the beauty and learn about the atrocities of humanity that happened only 50 years ago. 5.00If you visit Battambang, you must book this tour! Our guide, Samol, was the highlight of our trip. He is incredibly funny, entertaining, and has a wonderful character. He provided a deep dive into Cambodia’s history, explaining not just the Killing Caves, but the entire background and origins of the Khmer Rouge. We also learned a lot about Buddhism and the Bat Caves. Samol was open to every question and explained everything perfectly. The service was top-notch: we always had a fresh bottle of cold water in our hands without even asking. The Bamboo Train was a very cool experience, and we loved that he had a music box so we could play our own songs during the ride. Samol is a fantastic guide who perfectly balances humor with serious history. This tour is an absolute must-do—it was our best day in Cambodia! Highly recommended!

5.00The trip was phenomenal. We booked the option for the entire day, and were the only two participants in the morning. Samol (our guide) went out of his way to make our day a great experience. He explained the handiwork (rice wine, rice paper, rice noodles and bamboo sticky rice) very clearly and we could try to our hearts content. He also made the effort to take pictures of us. He had a very extensive historical knowledge and was able to explain the genocide very clearly. In the afternoon when we were a larger group he entertained and made sure everyone felt confirtable to socialize. There is honestly not enough words to describe how great of an experience Samol made this tour. 10/10, would book again.

5.00Wow, what an excellent day with our driver Sam. He was knowledgeable and happy all day. Nothing was a problem.
