The main French structure in the city will be seen on this tour, and the guide will teach history and Cambodian language as well. We will explore the countryside by traveling past fruit plantations, and rice fields, and explain how they grow, stopping along the way to talk with children and farmers about how to raise vegetables. Ridding on original bambootrain and visitors can watch and taste rat barbecue on the way to Phnom Sampou. Experience with climbing up hill to see killing cave, viewpoints, some temples on the summit. Aside from that, You will be enjoyed millions of bat flying out from cave in the evening.

What To Expect
Battambang Province
Afternoon Tuk Tuk tour departures at 12:00pm. Start with pick up at 11:50am from your accommodations or restaurants. After that, get to know your guide and share with you about history, culture, religion, agriculture, folk tales and some main tips of Cambodia and Battambang. Then, continuing to see some main beautiful historical buildings, central market, provincial hall and the symbol statute of Battambang (Ta Dambong Kra nhoung).
See beautiful villages, fruit plantations, rice fields, suspension bridge, local people living and stop to talk with farmers. Then, buy your ticket and board on the bamboo train. Get a free butt massage from the movement. Admire scenery along the way. After that, having late lunch at a local restaurant in the village.

5.00Somal and Wendy ( his beautiful tuk-tuk) gave us quite an amazing ride. We traveled through the countryside to the bat caves and along the way leaned about the resilience of the Cambodian people from a man who grew up in Battambang.. correctly pronounced Buh-tam-bong". Don’t worry if you don’t say it right, Somal will correct you. If you miss this experience you will miss Battambang! Enjoy the ride

5.00I can’t recommend this trip enough! It was wonderful from start to finish! It will never cease to amaze me how these guides tell us so much about their country’s history in a second language! Just brilliant! Samol had great energy and was so inclusive to everyone. His pride for his country shine through and was a joy to see! My favourite part was seeing the bats .. what a spectacle! I highly recommend this trip ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

5.00I have just done the full day tour with Samol and all I can say is what a day!!! I was the only one on the tour this morning and straight away he put me at ease taking me to see how rice noodles were made as well as rice paper and rice wine and not forgetting the sticky bamboo rice and the samples of all were absolutely delicious. He explained everything in great detail and it felt like he wanted to as well. It wasn't just a job to him. This afternoon we were joined by others and he still explained everything about where we were and as well as telling us about this he was very humorous which kept us all listening to him. If I could have him as my guide for every tour that I go on, I would be one very happy girly. He really does make the day a lot of fun!!! Thank you Samol, and next time I'm in Battambang I hope to be able to use your services again 😊

5.00The guide, Samol, is a really great person, as are the rest of Cambodians. You can see that he puts love and passion into what he does and never tires of talking about his country telling stories and anecdotes. The bamboo train as far as it has a story behind real, now it is only for tourist use, the thing I didn't like so much is that they make you stop for at least 10/15 minutes before resuming the ride to entice you to buy something at the souvenir stands, for the rest it was a nice trip out of town, definitely to do if you visit Battambang, Samol took us to eat at a local restaurant, occasionally told us things about the places we were visiting and the history of Cambodia, provided free water and often asked if we needed to stop to go to the bathroom, which I appreciated
