Wonderful introduction to Bayonne! Karim was an excellent guide who took us around traditional places in Bayonne, patiently giving us a background on the ways, norms and traditions that are typical of Bayonne (and 'Le Pays Basque'). It was a real insider tour from a local perspective. Karim also recommended places to see, dine and visit in the area. Thank you Karim!

Definitely the highlight of our trip to Bayonne . Karim took us round the city telling us about the local architecture and the Bayonne way of life. As there were only the four of us it was very relaxed. We had chocolates in two shops then had seafood tapas at the market followed by different tapas at a restaurant by the river. Specially selected wines were served at each venue. We also had fun serving our own cider straight from the barrel at the Cider House where we could not resist the warm bread, cheese , quiche paste and walnuts there despite already being quite full. After a visit to the Trinquet to see the Basque ball game we ended our tour with Basque cake and coffee. When we booked we thought it may have been a bit expensive but we definitely got our money’s worth and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
