This is masterclass of the husky tour. Warmly welcome to be part of our authentic lifestyle. OUr dogs welcare is our priority and we do take wellcare of our guests too. You will meet our lovely siberian huskies which are our family members and be part of the team.
Our home is located on the shores of Lake Sierijärvi in Rovaniemi, Finnish Lapland. Tuulenpesä is home to nineteen Siberian huskies, a cat and our four-person family.
This old farm is rich in ambiance and offers you the opportunity to experience the tranquillity of nature and taking a moment’s rest during your trip in Lapland. This is about our life style and our passion.

What To Expect
Masterclass! Here you can be a musher by yourself. You will have own husky team and work as a team with these great friends. Duration of the whole tour, including transfers, is about 3,5 - 4 hours. We go for a 1 1⁄2 -2 hour sleigh ride. We will start on easy ground across the lake and while that learn to handle the sled ride. After that we will enter to the forest with curves, uphills and downhills. On the way you can enjoy of the beautiful landscape and winter wilderness. We will stop at the camp fire and have some snacks like sausages, hot drinks and something sweet. You will hear the stories about the huskies and you are can make some questions. This all about our authentic lifestyle that you will part of. The distance of the ride is 20-25 km depending of the weather conditions and your driving skills. Dogs wellbeing is our priority and we take car of our guests too. Warmly welcome! We have warm clothing for you. And we will pick-up you from your accomodation. We will send you by email exact pick-up time.

5.00Second time I've been through this family to experience the sled dog and it's still amazing. This is where you have to come for a sled dog ride near Rovaniemi. The walk is beautiful and intimate. Aksa and Antti explain everything and accompany you. This is a family business where dogs are well treated. Do not hesitate and go!

5.00Wonderful experience with Aksana and Antti! We had the chance to take the forest ride with each our sled, just the two of us. Quite sporty but we end up taking a hand! Aksana and Antti are adorable, exceptionally kind, and their dogs are exceptional. Don’t hesitate for a second it’s much better than other agencies with lots of people, that’s for sure and some. We enjoy dogs full, full of hugs, small tea in front of the lake by the fire. Unforgettable experience for us! Thanks again for everything!!! ❤️🐾🛷 Little more aksana speaks very good French! 🇫🇷

5.00From my initial enquiry, Aksana was super helpful and approachable, reassuring me when I was worried about going over the frozen lake as part of our experience. Antti picked us up from our accommodation near SCV exactly on time and was friendly and chatty. The location was stunning and the dogs were wonderful. You felt they were really cared for and loved. Aksana and Antti used to work on a large scale husky farm 20 years ago, and it was clear that it was importantly to them to provide a caring and intimate alternative to the popular tourist attractions. My daughters age 7 and 11 were allowed to help mush towards the end of the experience once the dogs had slowed down. We were not expecting this - it was an incredible experience for us all. It was so nice to have plenty of time with the dogs afterwards and to sit around the fire and we didn’t feel rushed at all. Thank you both. You were amazing.

5.00This was one of the best things we did during our time in Rovaniemi and would recommend to anyone visiting! Aksana and Antti were the most welcoming hosts and you could tell how much they adored their huskies! We spent time both out on the lake for husky rides and then back at their home, meeting all the dogs and having snacks and drinks around the fire. The most wonderful experience!!

We had the most beautiful excursion of our stay. 🤩 The hosts are lovely and the dogs happy, a peaceful setting, explanations in English and French, which was a big plus for us, not mastering enough English. The video made by the host was a nice surprise and keeps a beautiful memory! I recommend 100%! And cakes with tea by the fire, a pure delight 🤩 Many thanks to the hosts for this amazing experience with children!

5.00My partner and I did this husky experience this weekend with Aksana and Antti and it was absolutely amazing. We formed part of a small group and got to spend a good amount of time learning about the huskies, seeing where they live and feeling how much care and attention Aksana and Antti give to them - they really are 27 additional family members and it was so lovely to see. The tour itself was exhilarating and like nothing we've ever experienced before. Antti gave really clear instructions on how to drive the sleigh and was always nearby in case we ran into any problems so we felt completely safe the whole time; he also took some absolutely incredible videos of us!! Overall we could not recommend this experience more and should we return to Lapland (which we hope to do), we would definitely come back to Aksana and Antti's place!

5.00We had an amazing time with our 6 year old daughter. You can go there with confidence. Here you will be sure to see loved and well treated dogs. As for the ride: we loved riding the sled (with Antti's encouragement!). The setting is beautiful. Aksana and Antti are very nice and welcoming. We were able to ask lots of questions, cuddle the dogs, spend time together with tea and cookies. Thank you for the wonderful memories!
